I have honestly watched several of these videos at the very beginning of my software engineer journey, but I must say this is my favorite. It is probably one of the shorter videos I've watched on this topic and yet it has explained the whole process so well. Most people sum it up in such a way that is very vague. Thank you for this!

Hey Uma. Just want to say I love this channel and the content you make. It’s a gentle reminder that nothing is impossible for anybody regardless of color or nationality. We’re both Naija made and I hope maybe we could work collaboratively someday.

Greta breakdown umar. Backend guys are also harder to recruit for, because there’s no straight cut way to interview them and truly verify their skillset as they don’t commonly don’t just have a GitHub repo unlike the frontend guys with a catchy app they can share their previous works over their repo. It also gives you a better career progression into becoming a DevOps expert should you want to pursue that route.

by any chance you'll do some react/flutter tutorial? Or teach about some architecture build?

Yes. I have plans for that in the future.

I’m new to my software dev journey and I’m still trying to figure out my path but I’m currently learning frontend and I’m going to work my way to backend. Even tho I still feel confused sometimes your video made me really comfortable with my journey process. Thank you
