I watched this talk two years ago and it's left a lasting impact about how I think of UI and animation. There's some great stuff in here, and as a dev who primarily reaches for React when building UI, it's helped me appreciate some of the things that are great about Vue.

Sarah, this is a great talk - as usual! I know others here have made remarks about it being the same as ones you've given before, but please know that many more of us "consumers of awesome, free information" know that it's really LOTS OF WORK to write, develop, and evolve your slides, content and delivery. We know that it only makes sense to use this talk as your deliverable at more than just a couple of conferences or online courses. I say this as a guy who has never spoken, and have only taken from the many professional women and men like you, Jen Simmons, Rachel Nabors, and so many others that make our learning and understanding just that much more of a better experience. Thank you!

Hey @Sarah. That was an awesome presentation. I have watched all of your videos of svg animation, css animation and this vue animation. I particularly like this one, because simply I am a vue fan. I do vue work everyday. You mentioned about the which is great, the thing is the elements inside the transitiongroup components needs to have a unique key assigned to them. And while the data is being fetched from the API, the key is null, for a fraction of a second. But anyway, it leaves an error message: "elements in should have key attribute" :)

I didn't agree with your definition of "yak shaving" so I looked it up. Unfortunately you were correct and my understanding of it was just the secondary definition "A less useful activity done consciously or subconsciously to procrastinate about a larger but more useful task". Or maybe this word has changed its meaning in the last 20 years when I used to use the term? Which I quit using when people seemed to prefer the term "bike shedding" instead.

Sheesh, don't watch it then. I had to write two other talks this week, which will also be free for you to watch online. I'm a human. There's only so much content I can create.
