The best part about spectrum is the fact that they cannot accept that they lost this war. I was a Customer for ~10 years and I asked them many times to lower my cost to what they were advertising. They told me that "it was just a promotion for new customers, blah blah" Yea, well now I pay ~60 a month for 1000 down and 1000 up. They keep sending a rep to my house to try to get me back but I won't ever go back. GGs Spectrum, your crap customer service finally bit you.

I'm literally on the same boat. I'm paying $56/Month for 200MB on ACP vs $87 without ACP next month! Frontier is coming Sunday to give me the new Eero 6+ router on a $45/Month for 500MB (on promo) but even after promo they are only charging $60 which at that point i can go for the 1GB for only $5 more! What a slap for spectrum 😆

To my understanding everyone gets a different offer and it's the retention department you want to speak with when you want to get the best of promos at least that's what I was told when I made the jump over to Frontier and they sent 2 spectrum associate to my door to convince me to come back. I got to tell you that Frontier doesn't disappoint and I have yet to have a anything buffer. Of course once my promo runs out with them I'll just speak with their retention and I'm sure they'll slap another promo for the year..but if not then $5 more at retail value for 5gb up and down is a hell of a deal!

Spectrum is arrogant. Frontier just installed fiber in my area and they are so much cheaper. I asked Spectrum for a price match and they said no. I switching to Frontier.

They almost got me. A guy from spectrum kept coming to my home. I currently got 1000gb plan with frontier . He finally said one day he can do 1000gb for about $20 less a month so I said what if I don’t like it he said just send the equipment back within 48 hours or something like that and it will be like we never spoke. The equipment came in and I happen to look at the order and it said clear as day that I ordered the 200gb plan so I called the guy and he tried to tell me that yes it’s 200gb but because cable works a different way it will be the same speed. I know for a fact that’s a damn lie. I mailed back their shit and I told myself I will NEVER EVER go with spectrum no matter how good of a deal it is.

Spectrum doesn't have a "200gb" plan. Even if you meant "200Mbps" plan, they don't have that either. It's either 100, 300, 500, or 1000mbps (or 1Gbps).

I have spectrum but frontier just finished installing fiber in my area, I called spectrum and told them about the fiber lines being installed and if they help me with my bill , I'll stay loyal to spectrum and they said we don't do that. Time to switch

Did the same thing last year. $40/no for both. Spectrum was 500/20. Frontier was 500/500! Even though the Spectrum price was a promo and was going to go up to 55-60/mo, they still wouldn't give me a discount to stay.

Yeah Frontier is a better deal. I should have switched from spectrum long time ago, the 500mb up is a day and night difference, I’m never going back to coax internet.

I’ve had Spectrum for the past year that I’ve lived back in SoCal. I’ve been paying them for 1 Gig, but get 500 mbps speeds. They said the only way for me to lower my bill is to go down to 200 mbps. Frontier is coming to install service today, I will get the full 1 gig speeds for the same price I’ve been paying Spectrum for 500 mbps. No brainer decision.

Coaxial cable is more than capable of 1 gbps upload speed however it's only available for business accounts. Consumers can opt for higher upload speeds but be ready to pay an exorbitant amount for the privilege and getting that upload speed is never an easy experience. Cheers 🍻

Frontier installed service to the apartment where I live. It was an easy job as the buildings already been wired (this was a couple years ago). I wanted a download speed they told me I can have but after the install they told me I can only get about half of what they sold me. I said, well, there's other Internet companies who tell me they can so why would I stay with you? And before the technician left, I cancelled the service I bought that they couldn't provide, but they still charged me for it. $89

I guess everyone is mentioning speed. One thing to mention, Frontier customer service closes at 5 pm EST, which means any issues you are screwed.

I literally upgraded my Spectrum to their 1Gig plan because their trash 5-15mbps upload speeds aren’t it. Also why do they charge SO much compared to everyone else?! I’m moving soon, and I HOPE it’s not a Spectrum serviced apartment. Literally praying it’s Frontiers 😂 So much cheaper, and I can save money. 500/500 is PERFECT for me!

They charge premium because many people don’t know the advantages of fiber, and Spectrum is everywhere so people sticks with them. Frontier es the way to go, I have had zero problems with it and the upload speeds are fantastic.
