Frontier Fishing Lodge - DAY 2 - Take a Guide Fish’N

Day 2 of my Frontier Fishing Lodge expedition in the East Arm of Great Slave Lake. It took me 1 entire day to travel here by boat, from Yellowknife and know I am ready to go fishing. During my stay I get a taste of the fishing opportunities and life at the lodge and for a little change of pace this time, I am taking a Guide fishing for the day on the FNA Rig, spending the day fishing for a Big Lake Trout and searching for the perfect Shore Lunch location, to enjoy some fresh Trout cooked in some Coombs & Co. Specialty Fish-fry Batter.

Those 40 ft flats out front of the lodge have produced some BIG lake trout over the years! When that spot is ON you can have some pretty EPIC days of fishing those flats! Glad to see you took Logan out for an afternoon of fishing and probably one of my personal favourite spots on the lake! My mom caught a 30 lb BEAST off of that point this summer! GREAT SPOT! Your videos are amazing!
