Hey, Deen! I've been a fan since the early Shrapnel/Wild Dogs/(misc related projects) days, and when I first heard you were lightening Steve A.'s load on tour with Journey, singing some of the Perry stuff, I was floored. No one man should be allowed to shred the skins like you (witness Wild Dogs' ~ "Call of the Dark," or, heck, ANY of REIGN OF TERROR) AND sing like Perry! NO. DAMN. FAIR! heh heh I am glad you're back & stronger, and even happier that your return to Revolution Saints seems to have happened even more quickly than I thought it was supposed to. This tune is a monster! I didn't notice until the 3rd viewing or so your name as the sender of the text to end the vid. Brilliant, and touching.. Ever forward.. Welcome back!

The true measure of a man is not the mistakes he has made but what he does after. Jesus Christ offers us forgiveness, all we need to do is ask to receive His blessings. He gave you the gift of both musical and singing ability and has allowed you to continue on that path. Sometimes we need to see extreme darkness to bring us to the light, both of which you have seen. God Bless Deen and continued success! Thank you for the inspirational music you are making with Revolution Saints!

Like Deen, I too, have been heartbroken, many physical pains resulting in numerous surgeries, having to resign from a 20 year career job only to go back to complete my undergrad degree at 40 and just about to finish my Masters of Divinity Degree which has taken six years of my life. God is so good, and I would be lying if I told you that I have been gracious throughout the whole process. Me and God ( Jesus Christ) have shared numerous battles together. However, looking back all the heartbreak has molded me into the man Christ wants me to be. “I wouldn’t change a thing.”

Deen Jack and Doug. What an amazing sound. So much truth to speak. Real music and real talent only take you so far brother. In 2003,. I took my raw vocal talent from Wisconsin to Illinois. Became a karaoke dj and loved the singing but it was overshadowing the job part. I started having voice issues I now know are from a dental infection gone mad. In 2011, my mom passed away from a suspected heart condition that they couldn't diagnose. My mom gave me my voice and was our rock. Darkness fell and in that darkness I stayed. RS first CD was a huge part of my coming back to the sun. I am fighting my health issues. In the wake of RS 2nd CD I was coming back to IL to be with my family once again. If you guys come west of Chicago to play I will go. Probably talk my father at age 70 to go last year he won tickets to see Kiss.. his first rock show. The Richard Page song has many meanings for me. Pops loved t an mom would have to. When I get my voice back, you will be on my inspiration list . You are a true blessing in my life Deen Castronovo.
