VOCALS! Is Michael Sweet the best remaining singer from the old days? Power, passion, range, his vocals on the recent Stryper albums, along with Iconic, Sunbomb, his solo work, here with Sweet & Lynch... just OUTSTANDING. Many other singers have been getting worse, but somehow Michael is excelling.
@shiningphantasy1393 Жыл бұрын
Micheal is certainly among the best, but Kip Winger, Robin McAuley, Rob Rock, and Graham Bonnet can still also sing on par with their younger selves. I also like Andy Kuntz a lot as his singing gets stronger with every release, and he is more or less the same age as Micheal. I like this track more than the first single. Lots of good albums to look forward to this year.

Admitted a talented singer. Just not My flavor. Too poppy. He can hot notes and has range. But I've never been able to feel any emotion from anything I've heard. Now I didn't like geddy early on. Took me some time. Maybe this is another one. But this song doesn't grab me. Hope others dig it. I'm just one person. Everyone enjoy what makes ya happy. And rock on.

Saw him live in front row about 6 weeks ago, and he crushed it as always. The guy stays in good health, so let's hope many more to come.

A 68 healthy man should be able to shred, it is not that physically demanding, haha. And 68 is not that much, either.
@thedesertdweller Жыл бұрын
According to insurance data & government record, most people die between 70 & 80. George appears healthy so hopefully he'll beat the odds. But to claim 68 ain't old is delusional. While we all want to have long lives and we see many examples of active old folks don't kid yourself, most of us will live to 70 but be dead before 80. Not me of course, I'm going to live to 107, not kidding either. Regarding politics, the death data is why the misanthropic GOP wants to raise the social security retirement age to 70. It's not about money, raise the cap, problem solved. But wanting people to work until they drop dead is SICK.
