frooglesim you are welcome... By the way, you might actually want to do a flight somewhere in the carribeans, with a landing on TNCM... There is a bigger island around 40 NM (if I remember correctly) from St Martin but seen as this is a fast aircraft you may want to take a look at the map surrounding Princess Juliana... Instalk the flytampa scenery of it and off you go, funny as well seen as you've been there a while ago! See what you can so with it...

I personally use this route for my "shakedown" flights in Twins and Turbines, both airports are beautifully covered by either FSDreamTeam and LatinVFR. Its KFLL -> KEYW or in reverse if you want to showcase an ILS approach as KEYW does not have an ILS just a VOR/DME. The entire route of KFLL -> KEYW that I use is based on real flight plans: KFLL FIPID FOBIS KAINS GRITT FAMIN WEVER DVALL STING CHETS ATNAW BUSBY KEYW

For the route - if you have ORBX New Zealand South Island, there are LOTS of fantastic places to fly amongst the mountains, and New Zealand is small enough you wont have 5 hour flights. I suggest Christchurch NZCH to Queenstown NZQN or maybe Nelson NZNS to Mount Cook NZMC. Nelson is at sea level - a small port, and Mount Cook is at the foot of NZ's tallest mountain. AMAZING scenery with ORBX.
@totoritko10 жыл бұрын
Just FYI, after takeoff, you should back off the props to the center position in the upper green band (for that engine it should be around 1900 rpm) - this should happen as part of the "climb power" setting and certainly throughout your downwind. The reason for having props full fwd for takeoff is to make the maximum possible power output available in case of single engine failure. Power, as you know, is a product of rpm and torque. Turbine engines produce a fixed amount of power at a given power lever setting, so by taking the props up to their maximum rpm setting, you can take the power up to the torque limit of the machinery. After takeoff, though, you should back off the props to their "happy place" in the middle of the green band, since you don't need all that power range anymore (sufficient altitude and hence, time, to address issues). Then, on final, again slam props full fwd to make the maximum power range available in case of go-around or an emergency. Didn't notice if this plane had an auto-feather system, but you'd treat that similarly (i.e. arm auto-feather close to the ground where seconds count).
