There's a frost alert. So I'm cutting what's left today for commissions tomorrow - I know my season officially finished two weeks ago, but you know me, I find it very hard to turn work down! x

Hi Georgie, this past summer I used my morning glory vine to make wreaths and allowed them to dry out. Now I have a base for my wreaths and no expense! I want to make small ones for napkin rings now.

Hello from Cape Cod where the temperature has fallen to 60 degrees. Today was the first day gardening in a warm jacket and winter hat. I'm feeling that tension you mentioned. I'm resisting pulling out the summer annuals that are still beautiful but I need to get the bulbs planted weeks before the first frost. In a world in turmoil I look forward to my time with you. It makes me feel grounded, literally.

I improved my mental health by digging up my last dahlia from the field, they was frosted a month ago, weather was grim, dahlias was brown slimy. Worst job of the season is done!

Great video, doing the same thing here in Northern New Jersey although I doubt we will see a hard frost until late late Oct , if that. I've been potting up a number of delicate plants that I need to bring inside. Also a number of native "seedlings" that never got planted in the garden. I think I'm going to sell the lot and just focus on the current house plants that I have for the winter! 💚 Thanks again for the lovely video.

I am AMAZED you still have roses in Oct! Heck, mine didn't look as good as that in June! You don't just have "green thumbs"--all your digits are green!
