The point of mages in modern wow is to not be stationary glass cannon turrets that can't move. Take that outdated mindset and go back to classic. That's why retail isn't for you.

​@@TheCrispyTwinkies Surv has been solid since vanilla. I had a t2/off pieces from aq20 on a surv hunter and was unstoppable in pvp. Usually top 7 dps in a 40 man. As long as you aren't striving for a huge epeen and being the best ever to ever exist ever in the entire existence of wow ever, you can have a great time with surv hunters.

I was not healed, I started at lower health and got healed almost to full and I also had rogue dots that you can't see from here and a moonfire and this was a 2.6k rated lobby.
