Interestingly, this being the 180th episode connects it with the fact that the sum of the interior angles of a triangle (which is the shape of Bill's body) is 180 degrees. Bill may have won the battle, but it seems that Discord achieved his goal as well. Unfortunately or fortunately, neither are gone for good. Bill will eventually escape from the Nightmare realm, and as a personification of Chaos, it's likely Discord will eventually reform as long as chaos exists. Unicorn hair isn't really a weakness, but it's able to be used as an ingredient to block Bill. The part about getting more powerful from chaos is basically saying that Bill gets stronger every second during Weirdmageddon, so Discord's power increasing from the chaos wouldn't be a surefire way of him becoming more powerful since there both getting more powerful

The gist of what it said is that it was likely that Discord could likely be able to come back to life on his own, on account of his being a spirit of chaos; however, there was no proof that this would happen fast enough to resume fighting Bill.

@@hownot2junk803 Likewise, if Bill still remembers Discord he could, in some future where wierdmageddon is happening and he's unstoppable, time travel to just after the fight and continue his takeover of Equestria. If Discord doesn't also time travel to this point then wierdmageddon cannot have ended, so Discord MUST have time travelled here considering we see that wierdmageddon has ended in equestria. This fight has no business ending where we see it end.

And given his comments to Wiz and Boomstick during the analysis, he probably wouldn't have liked staying involved in a Death Battle any more than necessary. Anyway, that's my take on it. I'll just end it here. :)

Easily my favorite DeathBattle next to Pinkie Pie vs Deadpool (possibly more)! I love everything about this one! 1) While watching Gravity Falls, I always joked about Bill Cypher being a dorito chip when asking how he could be a threat! I was so happy to see that joke!!! 2) The voice actors are phenomenal! Heck, Bill Cypher sounds exactly like Alex Hirsch and the guy voicing Discord sounds similar to John de Lancie! 3) Along with sounding right, the characters are written right, unlike Aang vs Edward Elric (Aang doesn't kill!!!). I believe both Discord and Bill Cypher would talk, act, and move the way they did here. I would even believe the strategies Discord made! It could easily be a canon MLP fanfiction (though who's the pony who made the deal with Bill to begin with?)! 4) The fact that Discord beat Bill at his own game! Yes he sacrificed himself, but the fact he did it while restoring Equestria was awesome!!! Plus, knowing he could restore himself in Chaosville makes this even better. Bill ultimately lost the war! As for Pete: he could probably be tricked at least two or three times into making a deal if Maleficent wasn't there to stop him.

I think doctor strange can take Bill cipher down by banishing him to a different dimension, (one that is empty, where he could never escape or return from, similar to what discord did in this death battle, without the sacrificing himself part, ........... poor discord), and i think doctor strange can damage bill with his magic, since Bill was somewhat beaten by normal humans like the pines with the memory erasing gun at the end of the show 15:15
