And watching the snippets from this movie, I think we can all agree this movie is an incoherent nightmare.

Essentially, what I'm saying is that people, because they believe that everyone should only ever be happy or go along with the popular opinion, tend to lash out at perceived contrarians or dissidents. Film critics, documentarians, stand-up comics, artists, etc., perhaps Gintoki (of the manga Gintama) was correct in his assessment that being a comedian (or any other 'opininated' profession) is one of the most dangerous jobs out there: because you have to stand by what you say, and be prepared to stick your neck out to a bloodthirsty, angry audience that would desperately want to decapitate you.

Doug isn't mean (or at least, not 100% mean); he manages to strike a balance between being kind of forgiving, if he can find a redeeming quality in the movie, or being indignantly acerbic when he feels that the movie could've been better.

It's kinda like being here on KZbin or some other social media outlet; people, even when they don't agree with commenters' opinions or beliefs, always tend to give thumbs-up/ likes, as opposed to giving thumbs-down/ dislikes, because they care about how people perceive them (plus, one wrong response, one injudicious phrasing of words, can lead to people harassing you online, emailing you threats or taking things too far, as the Syfy show 'Internet Ruined My Life,' showed me; it was about people who either because of their poor choice of words or public opinion at the time, had their lives, their reputations, their privacy, destroyed by online SJW reactionist rage, sunk to the uttermost depths of despair and torment, in some cases nearly driving them to suicide).

Fun reaction. And I do have to agree with you on the whole "Doug is a horrible person" thing. I do watch the Nostalgia Critic, because I need a good laugh. :) Two things I want to ask you... 1. Has anyone ask you to do a reaction to the NC review of Final Fantasy: The Spirit Within or Little Nemo? 2. I just saw the trailer to MLP: Pony Life. And I find it okay. is the nostalgia critic still worth watching in 2020? doug walker is such an awful reviewer in recent years due to being completely unfocused in what hes reviewing, misrepresents what some good movies are (and his sibling rivalry review for the sonic movie was AWFUL because of this) has a damaged reputation thanks to the change the channel movement that ruined his reputation in recent years the more channel awesome refuses to ignore the situation and blocked me on twitter for criticising one of their fancription videos as they keep repeating that bullshit theory on anna being a villain in frozen 1 and 2
