wyvern’s unavoidable dodges on seem to be related to your position relative to wyvern’s head. if wyvern is looking at you but his head is to your left and you circle to the left, you can get hit by pounce, ice bolt etc. it seems like circling left does leave a small window where wyvern’s head is forced to be turned slightly left so occasionally an early farm leap while circling left will result in death or getting hit

I've seen so many barbarians cheese this with the iron will perk, but they gotta have balls of steel to face the wyvern with just melee

i think you are right, the double/triple pounces occur because of positioning. i think if you move to the right (wrong) spot he will just keep pouncing over and over

this boss is extremley easy to not die to its the easiest mechanics, its just hard to dps the 7k hp before time runs out for me.
