I love the light-hearted nature of your battle reports. The thief being eaten by the measuring tape was priceless. Also this episode had quite a bit of shenanigans going on with the spells, that was awesome!

Placing some treasure chests on elevation was a good move. One of the great features of Mordheim-style skirmish games is the use of verticality.

That's it, you've convinced me, I'm going to finally make a mud spell effect token and pick up the mud spell with my next wizard. The overlapping effects of wall and mud at a chokepoint have me tactically giddy.

It's really good! Board manipulation is just too hard to pass up in FG. Just look out for "dispel!"

I’m in the middle of painting up my Frostgrave warband right now, so this keeps me going. Great battle. That wall spell sealed the Barbarian’s fate. The Knight’s name… Sir Hackzor comes to mind… but I also thought about the Blade Itself book by Joe Abercrombie. There’s Logen Ninefingers, but he’s a Barbarian berserker, so you’d have to go with Jezal dan Luthar, an expert swordsman who’s a LOT less bloodthirsty.
