Watching the topic of a low tech run (28:00), too bad a tier 1 challenge is impossible. But can't you use overdrive (and even overdrive couplings) to get through most of the -100 on tier 2 tech? Might still make an interesting challenge?

You never use Charcoal kilns, so how about a kiln only run? No thumpers, no mines.

Hi Jake, I had a thought while watching the low tech part; do you think it would be possible to beat either the New Home scenario or survive the Endless -120 storm with unupgraded buildings only? So basically your source of materials and resources will be limited to the tech level 0-1 hunters' huts, steelworks, wall drills, coal mines, coal thumpers, and hothouses. Factory and infirmaries maybe? I have a hunch it will be possible but a lot of people are going to die during the midgame due to lack of food and research

Between all of the discontent, the troves of people that will die due to no homes, and the fact that buildings that are built for solving discontent (churches, watchtowers, etc) will not work due to no houses in their radius. So it would only be a matter of time before he fails, but I would still watch due to Jake's inherent apathy to his citizens in addition to such a challenge would create a beautiful scenario

I dont get people saying Faith is done too much. Sure, its relatively balanced, but this is the first time I see you saying you will go full faith. You have mentioned several times it gets preachy and weird with he announcer, but have yet to see the 'night of changes' of that side, so I am happy I will now see it.

From the runs I have seen of yours, I admit it feels evenly split, even if faith never was taken to full length. Order is better imo anyway, with foreman and agitator thats twice production bonus, and agitators do not cause the shift in tone.But the faith healing is admittedly great too.

hey DDRJake :) is there still a bug with the gathering posts gather from coal thumbers?? sometimes i setup 2 coal thumbers with 6 gathering posts but they all gather from only 1 of the thumbers

Why do you deconstruct cookhouse sometimes?

If there is no cookhouse, people will only eat when they are starving. This adds to discontent, but makes people go longer without food, and not waste valuable work/building time going to the cookhouse.

@@Cowcow211 Discontent is the least of it. The real problem would be the sick production handycap and eventual death, but hes proven that you can do a no food starvation discontent amd have all but 5 people die amd still win.
