This is why you are wrong. Although majority of black families in INglewood are home owners, the constant cost of living prices raising and jobs not matching inflation means the relatives that inherit these houses will be more tempted to sell for 7 figures than stay in the area with the property taxes/ up keep etc. 98% of the people buying these homes will be white. Just statistically speaking theres not enough black people in california to even fill this gap on top of that the economy etc. This means the new home owners will be white or latino but for the most part white. The apartment areas are kicking out tennants and white young professionals are paying 2500 for a 1 bedroom with no complaint now. Within 10 years inglewwod will be more diverse and within 20 a non black city most likely. So cal as a whole has seen a decline of black residents.
