I think loopstation battles got to a point where everyone is so good at their own thing that they will have to decide what they want to aim for, if more battle-ish hard things for competing like kind of a sport or if they want to take it closer to real music like more artistic (which is completely impossible to judge at this level imo)

Autotune is actually the new effect which is only possible with the MkII rc-505. its the upgraded loopstation that has never been used before this competition thats why you didnt heard any autotune in the beatbox scene before this.

Yeah but I think the judges will score Robin slightly higher because they have time to repeat the rounds more and I think robins round 2 grew up to you the more you listen to it sooo

@@lobendinojohncarlo7906 it's also 100% going to be inkie for frosty and saro + rythmind for robin, robin naturally scores higher but inkie is one of the few judges who isn't biased against second devices (which isn't a bad or good thing to be, but it works against frosty)

What happened at the start of Frostys 2nd Round is called Silent Recording and it is when a looper mutes what they input so you cant hear it. We do this as it can be for a drop later on in the Track or a surprise effect. Frosty decided to do this at the start (rather than later on in the track) as his 2nd Device Helix (the gold one) has a MIDI Clock on it and recording it at the start was the best option to get everything on perfect time :)

Frostys second round is one of the best battle rounds I've ever heard, but Robins 1st round is still in my head and was more direct, throwing shade at Frosty, plus you have to give him points for basically creating a music video masterpiece for his second round. There's more human emotion that connects you with Robin so for me he is the winner, but this is about as close a battle as it gets, specially since their styles are so different, we are basically judging music at this point. This really deserves an extra round

robin won 1st round 2nd round frosty one but the creativity and musicality of robin one for me, and plus he had to go to a lot in the 2nd round i.e someone riding car, someone filming him, and the tree branches that hit him and the bumps and so much hardwork for just a battle
