I love that Estinien is forced to play that role, due to how the party now works. While extremely powerful individuals, all Scions are adventurers at heart, meaning their base is "to adventure, for fun!" And they are forced to play it straight while oficially on bussiness. So when you see the antics happening, it's quite some shift. He keeps to what Scions are on the outside.

I agree with the embarrassed part there, the animators did an amazing job here in showing her total awkwardness. But it's also a brilliant character story moment : the nixies say "Water water, froth and foam, time to play!" which kinda hints that Y'shtola, the genius sorceress, was so lonely as a child prodigy that she had to conjure up some playmates herself. She knows that well and she hates showing her vulnerable past self to her friends. The writing is, like always, top tier.
