If you see the crystals that appear in the video and also in the poster of frozen 2 that in total there are four, each one has a symbol, it seems that it represents the 4 seasons, and I just noticed that they are in North America, Canada. You know why, because of Maple Leaf in the Frozen 2 title, right? That confirms it, remember that the first film was released in Scandinavia, Norway in Europe. Also, in the scene where the two new characters appear, it seems like someone controls the wind, and then there is the scene where elsa and olaf come out it may be the one that controls the fire, maybe the new characters that control the seasons as well as elsa that I guess it's winter !! I'm just saying it's a theory.

@Genji Shimada I've always thought that Canada has large herds of caribou, which are a large type of reindeer. I just checked, and yes, it's true. In fact, Sven always struck me as being much more like a caribou than the smaller reindeer usually found in Norway. So the main characters really could be in Canada, at least at some points in the sequel. At other points, namely the beach Elsa is apparently trying to escape from, it looks very much like they're in Iceland, which has volcanic beaches with the exact same types of rocks and dark coloration. If they traveled west from Norway to Iceland, then it is quite possible that they might travel even farther west to Greenland and then Canada. Norwegian Viking Leif Erikson explored a similar path hundreds of years earlier, landing in Canada, which he named Vinland. It wouldn't surprise me too much of the _Frozen_ characters retraced his path, especially with symbols of Canada flying around. :)

Jalatto_ Frozen trailer 2 came out and they say they will go north. Arandale is somewhere in Europe, and Merida is from Scotland. Stonehenge is also in “Brave”

It looks like elsa, anna and (i forgot the dirty blonde haired guy’s name was) are going into the ocean to find out what happened to their parents, and if its not, then maybe their is a new antagonist with a weird leaf power ? I honestly have no clue

My understanding, based on statements made by the filmmakers, is that most of _Frozen II_ will be taking place away from Arendelle, and potentially far away, at that. The research trip they went on this time took them back to Norway, but they also went to Iceland and a couple of other countries. Tellingly, the beach that Elsa is apparently trying to escape from looks *exactly* like many of the volcanic beaches in Iceland, complete with the type of rocks and dark, muted colors. Elsa is definitely not in Norway in this scene, and is almost certainly in Iceland. This implies they are exploring far to the west, and west of this would be Greenland and then Canada. Symbolism is huge in the _Frozen_ universe, and the sugar maple we see in the teaser is the symbol of Canada in real life, and the new girl in the teaser appears to be dressed like a Native American (more often called Indigenous Peoples in Canada). Take these apparent clues as you will. ;) As for the Tarzan theory, all such theories are *not* officially canonical. Chris Buck, who directed both _Frozen_ and _Tarzan_ , joked about having the connection in his head, but even for him it is just a fan head-canon, not actual canon. Even if Tarzan were to make an appearance in _Frozen II_ , it would merely be an in-joke like Rapunzel and Eugene and a bunch of Mickey Mouse dolls appearing in the original _Frozen_ .

Tarzan appearing would just be a cameo (in-joke), though, as there is no canonical Disney Extended/Cinematic Universe, at least at this time.

The only movies of the Disney Classic Canon with theatrical sequels are The Rescuers (The Rescuers Down Under), Wreck-it-Ralph (Ralph Breaks the Internet) and now Frozen. The rest were direct to video and considered non-canonical by many (because lots of them were freaking bad)

That's right, and additionally the direct-to-video "cheapquels" weren't just bad, they were made by a different studio called Disney MovieToons, which outsourced the actual animation to various overseas TV animation production studios. Real theatrical Disney animated features, on the other hand, are all made by Walt Disney's original studio, which is called Walt Disney Animation Studios, or WDAS or Disney Animation for short. They created Mickey Mouse in 1928, and their first animated feature was _Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs_ (released in 1937)--all genuine Disney animated features including _Frozen_ , _The Lion King_ , and _Beauty and the Beast_ to take just a few examples, trace their lineage right back to Walt himself through this studio, which is adjacent to the main Disney headquarters in Burbank and produces all of their own animation, as they always have. The other studio, Disney MovieToons, is now dead and gone. Walt always hated the idea of sequels, so WDAS rarely ever made any themselves, but now they're being forced to by the sequel-crazy parent Disney corporation. _The Rescuers Down Under_ and _Ralph Breaks the Internet_ are the only two so far, and _Frozen II_ will be the third, as you've already mentioned. Additionally there is _Fantasia 2000_ , which could also be considered a sequel of sorts.

All the " sequels" were made from another studio Disney toons. This sequel, ralph and the resquers. Are the only ones made by disney animation.

That's right, and if you count _Fantasia 2000_ as a sequel, it was likewise made by Disney Animation. By the way, Disneytoon Studios, which used to be known as Disney MovieToons, stopped making those direct-to-video "cheapquels" years ago. Their standards were raised and new talent was hired, and they started making the Disney Fairies movies instead, which I think are pretty darn good for what they are--not Disney Animation quality, but closer, and they had their own sort of style and charm. Unfortunately, just when they were getting fairly good at what they were doing, Disneytoon Studios was shut down. Anyway, from now on Disney Animation will be making real, official sequels to their own movies, just like Pixar have been doing all along.

Great reaction, guys, but truth be told, the original movie got even darker than this at times. The main difference, at least from what we've been shown so far, is that the original was sort of a horror-comedy and intimate epic (where most of the drama is internalized), while the sequel appears to be more of a dark, epic action-adventure (with comedy, I'm sure). Overall, it probably won't be darker than the original, which is already on the dark side for a Disney animated feature. It was not a happy movie, especially concerning Elsa, who was miserable for nearly the entire time. The shorts released since then are happy, light comedies, but for the most part _Frozen_ was decidedly not. As others have pointed out, _Frozen II_ is being made by Disney Animation themselves--a rare sequel from Walt's original studio. In fact, it will be directed by the same directors as the original _Frozen_ , Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck. The only other sequels made by Disney Animation are _The Rescuers Down Under_ , _Fantasia 2000_ , and _Ralph Breaks the Internet_ --all of the other "sequels" were made on the cheap by another studio, Disney MovieToons, with outsourced TV-quality animation. This will be different, just like how Pixar make their own sequels. The main reason Disney Animation have rarely made sequels has been that Walt Disney hated sequels, but times have changed and now they're required to make their own sequels. And Disney MovieToons, by the way, no longer exists anyway.
