Yep, or just they can't cook cuz I read the directions but adjust them to get to what I think is the finished product like tossing frozen fries or tots in olive oil and baking them at 450 for 22 minutes, perfection

Once you've had fresh white castle sliders the frozen ones taste nothing like the real thing, when I have a craving for sliders I make a pilgrimage to the local castle and get a crave case

I agree, but I also don't have a Castle anywhere near me because they don't franchise, so the frozen ones are the best I can do. I add a little yellow mustard and a pickle to each one, and they definitely aren't bad.

i think it's both. I'm the same way. I used to love pizza rolls when I was a kid back in the 80s-90s. but I sear they were way better back then. And it wasn't cuz I was a dumb kid that just liked anything back then. But, as I've grown up my tastes have matured as well. I buy them every now and then bc it keeps reminding me of how much I loved them when I was young to be disappointed every time I eat them. They really been flavorless for yrs now. Also, How can they still not figure out how to get those damn rolls to not leak after all these years? I know the kroger brand don't do that so I know it's possible but even though they are somewhat good they have a weird bitter aftertaste.

The key to the Jose Olé Frozen taquitos is you have to fry them. It only takes a few minutes and they come out crunchy and tasty.

I don't mind my girgios mozzarella sticks in microwave. The frozen target mini spinach pie is ok in my oven..I eat lean pockets sausage, egg, cheese its so so. Ms. T pierogis delicious.

Gotta agree on the Mozzarella sticks and pigs in a blanket. When the pandemic first hit, I was eating a lot of unhealthy frozen appetizers like these and also the loaded potato skins.

Farm Rich Mozzerella Sticks are pretty good. Also, you NEVER microwave a mozzerella stick. Air Fry or Toaster Oven.

I tried White Castle burgers for the first time earlier this year at their restaurant in Vegas... After being so excited for years to try them, they were almost inedible to me... I mean horrible! They must be a regional/acquired taste thing... I can't believe that anyone would serve a frozen version of them at a party... The smell would drive out the rats (IMO)... No hate to those who love them, but I honestly do not "get it"...

Same for me. I finally was able to try them and I completely do not ever want to eat them again. What's the point anyway? A tiny burger with basically nothing on it? Where you have to get 3 or 4 or more to have a meal? Why? No lettuce, tomato or anything much on there but a few old onions. Yuk. Some places do have small sandwiches or "burgers" that are worth getting a version having more on them. Chik-fil-a for instance. But these things? Nah. And a microwave version? Oh Please no.
