I adore Kristin Bell singing. She quite literally becomes the epitome of a Disney princess with her animated face and movements. The performances she gives singing these songs live are incredible and her voice is superb... I would pay to see her in a musical, I think she would be phenomenal. I'm also a fan of Lea Solanga, the voice of Mulan and musical voice of Jasmine in Aladdin. Bonafide Broadway star, played both Eponine and Fontine in Les Mis(my personal favorite musical) as well as known theatre pieces. She misses Kristen's animated face, but her voice knocks everything out of the park for me. Still not sure why they added a non-movie version of Reflection by Christina Aguilera for Mulan. Lea's version was more than enough, and just as radio-friendly :p Musically, Lea could stand in for any Disney princess, as she's proven with Elsa's Let It Go.

She and Idina Menzel had both been passed over as Disney princesses/heroines multiple times before landing their roles. It's a matter of finding the best match, not just how well they act and sing, of course. The funny thing in this case, though, is that while the directors of _Tangled_ went with Mandy Moore for Rapunzel, they seemed to recognize that Kristen and Idina would be perfect for Anna and Elsa, respectively, and specifically referred them to the directors of _Frozen_ , who obviously concurred and hired them both (although they did audition hundreds of others, as usual). Sometimes the right roles just happen to come around, and it's so obvious that virtually everyone agrees.

I love Kristen Bell!! She's so talented and full of life. I love her as Eleanor Shellstrop on The Good Place and her voice acting is great in Frozen. Gosh, she's just a great person who brings positive energy and always manages to bring a laugh out of everyone. Everyone always gives recognition to Elsa, her character, and her voice actor, which truly is deserved because she worked hard, but I don't see much appreciation for Anna and her actress too. I appreciate them both for making something so special to children, adults, and families alike.

Kristen has a great voice she sounds just like the original and she acts it out perfectly in all her live songs. But Idina has a very powerful voice and has been in musicals, so it makes sense. People know her and her voice. I love Idina's Defying Gravity performance but not the musical version.

For me personally, Wicked has been my favorite musical since I was 13. I fell in love with Idina specially for that and hearing her other work. Now honestly, I never knew Kristen Bell was classically trained (i learned shortly before seeing frozen). But I think cause there are a lot of broadway/theater nuts. Also dont forget Idina's role in Rent.

This was forking awesome! Kristen Bell's voice is beautiful, and she's really talented. I'm not a huge fan of the movie, but her songs are the best, and the live version it's even better. Her acting , her expressions here, it's superb. Amazing! Also, there's an episode of Veronica Mars when she sings, just a verse (I think it one of the firsts of Season 3), and it's just perfect.
