Yes, alcohol was involved in this. Bless them. ;) As for Kirstin and Scott... well, they did date back in highschool - but that was before Scott came out. All three of these people dated each other at one point: Mitch and Kirstin, Scott and Kirstin and Scott and Mitch. If anything they prove that if you're willing to work for it it's possible to remain friends after a breakup. Oh, and yes - that blonde wig makes 2 other appearances i Superfruit videos: Mitch wears it again in "Pop Goes Broadway" and Scott wears it in "Defying Gravity".

Superfruit is the best show on the internet. Lots of humor and good music and a combination of the two. And Scott and Mitch have so much creative chemistry. Frozen medley is definitely a great entry point! I second the La La Land Medley. Also Hip Hop Goes Broadway 1 & 2. The bloopers are almost always part of their videos and I love it.

They were (admittedly) under the influence of a few bottles of wine when they did this. There is an actual audio version of Let It Go featuring to both Mitch and Kirstie on one of the holiday albums that's absolutley incredible. You'll also need to do Superfruit's "Defying Gravity" kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJWxhJxmbLlofbM. It's even crazier with green face and the blond wig. As silly as it is, musically it's fantastic. It was Scott's request for his birthday and Mitch happily complied. The LaLa Land Medley is hilarous as well. The outtakes on all Supefruit videos are often as great as the videos themselves. They all have great range, but Kirstie actually prefers her alto range and often leaves the high notes to Mitch.

They are so funny. They started their career on KZbin and built their fan base from the ground up themselves. Mitch and Scott used to share an apartment and then a house with some other roommates. They have so many fun videos from that time period. I would call this nerdy scholastic Mitch, it's from really early on when they first got started and were barely out of high school. The best thing, I think, about all the members of PTX is that they are so genuine and themselves, they are not just a "brand". I think the thing most of us pentaholics love the most is that they let us see the real them, their goofiness and their imperfections and they have so much fun with it! That's why we feel like we know them, not just some persona they create to play a roll. We all genuinely want to be friends with all of them!

Apparently SuperFruit invited Kirstie over for the evening - three best friends just relaxing together - and they started the evening with a few glasses of wine. Then, being who and what they are, they decided they should perform major portions of _Frozen_ for the camera (or else that was the plan all along, which would explain how someone just happened to be there to handle recording for them) and headed to the studio so they wouldn't wake the neighbors. All three of them have confirmed that they continued drinking cocktails between takes, so they started out a little drunk and by the end of this they were totally snookered. Interesting that being drunk doesn't seem to affect their singing ability at all, isn't it? Though I suspect that Mitch wouldn't have been such an easy target for cracking up during his big solo if he'd been sober.

So you stumbled upon Superfruit. Fasten your seat belt. When Scott and Mitch started Superfruit in 2013, they wanted to share with their viewers a "behind the curtain" look into their lives. They did over 200, mostly weekly, videos that covered everything from Q & A to skits, to guest stars, Ect. For almost 5 years you could follow their path to stardom as Pentatonix and their personal stories and growth as artists. It was mesmerizing. They would throw a musical number like "Frozen" in now and then and eventually developed as a "second" musical act. Their album "Future Friends" is great and they have videos for all the songs. Again, Scott and Mitch gave insight and told stories of how they met, grew up, fell in (and out) of love with each other and everything in between. Then in late 2018 it just STOPPED. No warning (except for the well trained eye). Mitch moved into his own house and the relationship between Mitch and Scott changed. So now they are seen in mostly promotional videos for PTX. They have been friends since they were 10 years old. Best friends for most of that time.

Did you know Kirstin also performed on Broadway in "Kinky Boots" until it ended in 2018?

Te evolution of Mitch Grassi. From The Sing Off days (which he admittedly has said he had some issues with anorexia in high school because of bullying) to after the Sing Off where he gained some weight. Which you see here in this video and a lot of their earlier videos like Daft Punk and Can't Hold Us, but then Mitch started taking his health a bit more serious in 2013 and started losing some weight, which you can see in videos as they go on, like La La Latch, Problem, Somebody I used to Know, and a PTX original Love again, where he also grew a scruffy goatee. Then in 2014 he let the top of his hair grow out for a new look. You can see his transformations through all their videos, including in 2016 when he had Scott shave his head in a Superfruit video, and for Hallelujah he wore a hat. (It was at this time so many people thought he had cancer because he had lost so much weight) He also wore a knit cap in the videos Gold and RISE with Superfruit. (you need to see that one which was with a few friends in the LGBTQ community. They did it in remembrance of the Pulse Nightclub shooting). Then after that he just keeps changing his looks. Shaved head except on the top where he grew it long, (And in my opinion looks Fu*&ing Amazing) to dying it purple, to a lot of other looks. Until recently where he grew a mullet. So many different looks for our Mitchy. And on a side note, Scott, Mitch, and Kirstie had been drinking when they did this video and the bloopers at the end where of them fooling around of course. Also, Mitch was Kirstie's first boyfriend, but he was also Scott's first boyfriend. LOL. These three love each other very much and are the best of friends. Mitch and Scott even lived together from after the Sing Off to about a little over a year ago. Two people couldn't be any closer friends than Scott and Mitch.

Kirstie... not Kristie.... That's what I call his "Clark Kent" phase for Mitchy. This was during Superfruits; "We're just doing this for fun and to be silly" stage. Their album is very, very good music indeed. If you want ridiculous, "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy", he hit a very high note in that. "Everyone"; You can't sing a song with no words! PTX; "Here, hold my coffee..."! And yes, Kirstie can lower than Mitch and Mitch can go higher than Kirstie until they start doing "Whistle tones".

There is some uncertainty within Pentatonix whether Mitch can sing higher than Kirstie or vice versa; see their cover of "Seasons of Love" to hear Kirstin really belting out the high notes. I suspect that it may vary from one day to the next which of them can sing higher. Two things that everyone agrees on, however, are that when Kevin goes into falsetto mode he's higher than either of them, and that Kirstin's whistle notes are much better than Mitch's. (And someday I really want to hear Kevin doing whistle notes - I bet he absolutely kills them.) Scott has an excellent range, well into the bass on the low end, and well into the tenor on the high end. But "well into the tenor" range isn't the same as being able to sing like a counter tenor, like Mitch. He couldn't do Anna properly in this video, so he played that song for laughs instead.

suebob16 that was post plaid. At the point of La-La Latch he is growing his hair out and had dropped a lot of weight. This is the transition period to the shaved sides long on top and experimental styles. The plaid period is when his hair was a corporate cut and he would wear my dad’s glasses from the 60s a lot.
