Trying to bind the r9m sx to the r9m module. It seems the firmware to flash the reviver is frsk and it won’t show “ flash s port” but if you change the file name to frk it will show the s port flash but then has a error

Accst radio and access receiver??? AFAIK, no it can’t. Those are different protocol and Access is more advanced. By the way, access radio and accst receiver case seems work. As per the FAQ on frsky website, you can see the answer as below; Q9: Is it possible to fly my ACCST receivers with a new ACCESS transmitter? A:Yes, users can bind the ACCST D16 receivers with a new ACCESS transmitter. FrSky also have the external options (XJT and XJT Lite) for users to bind the older D8 and LR12 receivers.

I came from Spektrum technology and I'm kind of new with Frsky system..... So..... I have the Taranis Qx7..... can I bind the Frsky X8R or the S8R receivers with the R9M module?.... thank you.

No with R9M. R9M frequency is 900Mhz and S8R/X8R is 2.4Ghz. But those receivers are compatible with internal radio of Qx7 not R9M. You need to check CE / Non-CE and Access / Accst. Please make sure those product type should be matched.

Hi, were you able to get full telemetry from the RX R9? How was your connection successful? which is the correct firmware F.port Flex or F.port FCC? I was testing and I managed to get complete telemetry. I am using InaV and I have a QX7 taranis with R9M module. Thank you

I updated the qx7 fine. But the r9m hasnt been as easy. When I hold the menu button I do not get the sd card menu ...any suggestions?

Did you suceed copying the r9m file to sdcard? Can you see the sdcard file on file explorer of your laptop when you plug the usb cable?

Hi sir this mean.when i use 2019 r9m with old accst qx7 i need to flash old firmware for r9m module in order to use with old qx7? Am i right sir. Im never so confusing with this frsky crrapp. Sorry im almost done with frsky if this isnnot works as intended

HelioGenesis -HS I think it depends on the model which is “access or accst”. AFAIK “Access radio & access receiver” or “accst radio & accst receiver” combination should be needed.

@@RCstagram ahh as i always suspected frsky is delidding community. I think it has to do with jumper. Frsky use to be like open and bring customers happy. Meaning my old qx7 never tasted the 2019 r9m then. I would go for tbs for sure now. Amd thanks for clarification this help me alot. God bless amd stay safe

Yes. R9 series receiver needed. R9M and R9 series receiver are for 900Mhz long range control.

emil gabl R9, R9 slim, R9mm. Those are R9 series receivers.
