I've been working on starting to exercise as part of my weight loss process. Cycling is definitely something that I love. I've never been able to stick to any form of exercise, but cycling is one that I've stuck to for a month so far. I've lost ten pounds so far using that and calorie counting. So proud of myself. 😊😊❤❤ Edit: I've been using the Peloton app and a non-Peloton indoor cycling bike.

I jumped in the Premier late, but I wanted to throw in a comment about how motivating and inspiring you and your family's journey towards a better life is for me. I've been on both a debt free journey and a weight loss journey for a few years now and I'm just so grateful for the content you've been producing on both your channels. Thanks Christine! Oh and by the way, in my "full time" IT hustle, I pass by "Uncle Tony's" manufacturing plant in Opelousas a few times a month and also have several runs though Hammond on a regular basis. Best to you and your family from Schriever Louisiana!

I have been a lifetime runner and cross fitter till I ruptured a disk in my back while dead lifting in 2019. It was a devastating injury and resulted in back surgery in 2019. It took soooooo long to recover and the hardest part was the mental/emotional loss I felt from not being able to do what I used to do. It took 2 solid years of going slooooowwww. I made a goal in 2020 to run Ragnar AZ Trail in 2021. It took me a long time to train and I had to go slow but I ran that race the best I've EVER run a Ragnar!! It was the ultimate comeback. Thank you for encouraging those with injuries that yes you can overcome them. It takes time, ALOT of patience of your mind and body but you can achieve it!!

THE PELATON IS MY NEWEST OBSESSION!!! I started taking spin classes a year ago, for once a week. I started going twice a week about 3 months ago, love the way it makes me feel, love the classes, but after your peloton video and my indecisiveness the past few months I decided to invest in myself. I’m saving an hour round trip twice a week, and the cost of the class/missing a class was almost double what I pay for the bike and program. AND I have been working out much more since it’s convenient, accessible and more comfortable!!

I would love a video or several about tips for moms who have kids in competitive sports. We are entering this world & I’m lost. Scheduling, driving, tips on where to spend money/where not to, how to cheer/how not to cheer (what’s most helpful & respectful for all), what boundaries to set around family time/church activities, etc. “How to support kids/teens in sports without letting them take over your life” is what I need!

Love this video and all your tips. I was a high school and college athlete, but a broken leg and ankle set me back over a year. Started to work out again, once I was able to walk, post Physical Therapy. Then cancer hit me 2 years ago. After surgery, radiation and treatments, my body is weak, a lot of weight gain and drained of energy. I'm now trying to get back in shape. I love to walk, ride and lift weights. Starting slow, but moving my way up to get stronger every day.

Cardio seems to be the most beneficial type of exercise. It is the one form of exercise that has been shown to increase lifespan significantly. It makes sense, since cardiovascular failures are the #1 cause of death, and cardio helps keep the heart and cardiovascular system fit, healthy, and strong. High-level cardiovascular fitness makes great sense.

Swimming is always my favorite, but I live in the cold white north of Wisconsin and most pools this time of year have very little open swim/lap swim time available due to students swimming for gym class or swim teams practicing. But when the weather warms up and we open up our pool again for the year, that's where you'll find me most of the time! I also enjoy yoga, bodyweight/weight lifting and cycling.

I'm only starting with my running season prep. Step 1 includes: Losing the 5 kg extra weight I got through being injured. My plan does include running (ofc!), strength training (although I'm starting on the machines and with the smith machine) and biking (my gym now has a bike really similiar to the peloton, which I'm excited to try!). I really love your routine, which is somewhat similiar to mine only more advanced :) Wish you all the fun in triathlon prep!

You are so inspirational! I just ordered a treadmill for myself and plan on starting the couch to 5k program once it arrives thanks to your video last week. Inspirational video. I'm dealing with permanent spinal cord damage/neuropathy (and grief). Sports and workouts that I did while younger (and I was a Beast!) are out or off my list due to balance issues and I randomly dropping things, and those team sports aren't very practical for most adults. I loved weight training, but dropping weights or kettle bells is scary, so I'm starting slow with other things. A balance ball, squats, basic isometric exercises and walking for now (a challenge with snow and ice in Minnesota). Also, adding mini sets while I wait for things to cook or any extra minute or two of movement is better than nothing. Keep the great content coming. 💜
