I'm so happy to see that you featured the patterns I've drafted for Mood! (For those who do not know, I'm the collaborator that has drafted almost all of the free Mood patterns - over 300 and still counting!) The Caraway Blouse is one of my favorite; I agree that it would be great to extend as a dress.

Love the unusual neckline on the Mood top. I live in the Northern Region of the US. I wear lots of layers. When I am doing my chores, I am always pushing up my sleeves to keep them dry and cuffs clean.

Yes it's lovely isn't it, it's layers all the way here in Yorkshire too - it's been relatively mild so far but you never know from 1 hour to the next here, what it'll do!

@@Frugalisama they run a bit big in width but they are great and a very quick sew. I would reccomend lengthening the baby laurel as it is a bit short in length (not covering the diaper bum completely on our 4 month old) I am just going to add an 4 inch ruffle to it to make it long enough though

Thank's for finding some great free patterns, even including the knitting pattern. The lined jerkin will be useful as you can use lots of differing weights of fabric, just my thing for layering.

I used to pay monthly for seamwork and built up a lot of credits. I discovered that you can pause your subscription for 3 months and still download patterns to use up your credits. Planning to pause it a second time if I can.

Oh I didn't know that, that's useful to know - I'm planning to use up some credits this year, as I've got way too many - I'll mention it in my plans video - thanks for that, much appreciated 🤗

Hiya, it's not a term I use often but I think it's an old term really. A waistcoat would generally have buttons, it's closer to what we would call a tank top in the UK, but generally had a V neck which was popular in the 70s (& probably 40s & 30s) effectively a sleeveless over garment (jumper/sweater) without fastenings that you can pull over your head.
