we went with Mohammed and Khaled to visit the amazing markets in Al Ahsa.
First was the beautiful Craftsmen Market, built to showcase and preserve traditional Saudi handcrafts.
Then we went to the stunning Al Quaisaria Souq abd had an incredible time wandering the narrow alleyways and feasting on dates and coffee!

honestly im so glad you got to experience some of our food and culture because judging from the first videos here in saudi where you were eating from supermarkets i did not think you would get to experience our authentic culture and visit local markets and try local food im so glad you got to see some of it i hope you have a wonderful time and safe travels in all you're journeys best of luck

Hi "Mandi" / Lee, One thing for sure while in the middle east you guys made tons of recordings! A very pleasant environment to visit, and yet probably no tourist enter these places. 😒 Mohammed, Khaled and the others were very kind with you. Is it me or most of the places have coffee / tea as part of hospitality? For me the coffee has to be black but I'd love to try that one. In regards to the architecture, the arabes really have some great designs (stonework / woodwork / ceramics...) Thanks for the upload, wishing to you both a lovely weekend wherever you are 😎

The yellow Arabic coffee is delicious - I really love it, Lee's not quite so enamoured as he finds it super strong! Yes, it is the name of a popular chicken and rice dish in Saudi Arabia! So funny how many different languages use "mandi" or similar sounding words... mehndi in Hindi for "henna"; mandi in Bahaasa for "to shower"... and I'm sure there are more 😃😁 ~ Mandy
