Cheers mate for all that info. I have a 22yr old green skinned white peach from Japan, that's in need of a major makeover. Neglected it until 8yrs ago and couldn't figure out why I wasn't getting quantity, but was getting quality regardless of its treatment, bless its heart ♥. The fruit are really big, like a baseball. I've learned that, when some leaves turn yellow, to pick everything and let them sit for a few days, or your picking dripping fruit, they are THAT juicy, but only ever had 20 fruit at most. Now I know how to prune and prevent that leaf curl, I'm in for a treat. Have another white peach, grown from a tossed seed. Last spring it sprang, with fruit that needed thinning. Well, we got a big wind, here down under, and I lost most of it. I've heard that burying some copper at the roots , helps with disease.

Thank you for this timely video. Our 2 peach trees are already into fruit drop, but as you mentioned ours too will need help, later, so the limbs are not so heavy laden. I appreciate knowing to thin to one peach every 6 inches. In the past have 'guess-ta-mated' the spacing and was never comfortable that was thinning right. Please sir, would like to ask, with our apple trees, what would be their correct spacing be between fruit, and also the spacing between the plums. Also, would like to ask, after the apple tree's blossoms changed to tiny apples, we got enough frost too kill some branch tips, and other branch tips survived, only to get frosted further up the branch. Should we go in and clip out the dead bits as much as we can, or let it be and let nature take it's coarse. Any advice on this matter certainly would be appreciated. Thank you kindly, for your time. Gretchen B.
