According to me both Kyo and yuki loves and care tohru equally. But most of the Anime fans don't realise how much kyo loves to tohru, bcz he isn't much open with his deep inside feelings in front of anyone specially tohru, he always try to hesitate in expressing his feelings in front of someone specially tohru even more than yuki does to his inside feelings. And it was a complete joke when yuki said that kyo easily makes friends, because I have never seen kyo smiling and enjoying in company of anyone except tohru and his master or shisho. Instead yuki is much open with his feelings for tohru, you should notice how much flirty scenes there are between yuki and tohru, but we think that yuki is not open with his feelings as kyo is bcz this animeseries has mainly focus on the the sufferings and pain of yuki not kyo... in fact Kyon is justified to be rude towards yuki because you might have not noticed but yuki most of the times taunts Kyon by calling him a stupid cat without any reason(well I agree that kyo really deserve to hear this sometime but most of the time he gets taunts from others including hatsura, yuki, uotani and others without any reason) so why isnt it he justified to get triggered and rude if they will always taunt him by saying a "stupid cat" that he hates to hear(bcz it triggers his past trauma of being rejected in society for being a cat and a monster in true form). In fact even yuki gets triggered so hard when someone taunts him, but only few of the characters taunts him so we don't see him as rude as kyo. In short I want to say that this anime is really biased for yuki to show him as the perfect character that's why I have a special place in my heart for kyo as I feel so bad for him what the Anime series has done to him, otherwise if the Anime series would have been equal on both sides I would surely Be for yuki.
