I like the new intro! Jackfruit is not my favorite but I remember it being gigantic when I was a child. This one seems to be a smaller variety. Never heard naseberry called sandberry before. It always amazed me that you can taste sugar crystals in this fruit. Nothing like tree ripened bananas!

Jack Fruit is used as an ingredient in a slew of Vegan products: such as Beyond Meat Burger, Hot Dogs, Sausages etc., but is best enjoyed off the tree ripe and fresh. Love the video. It shows the diverse, food (Boss) centric-beauty of our island.

Our custard apple has the same name as Jamaican custard apple. However in St.kitts our custard apples are bigger,. the outside of the fruit is very red, some are pink or some are white.

Jackfruit and most variety of fruits especially mango originated in Indian continent. Jackfruit is native to south Indian state called Kerala. It's real name is ചക്ക പഴം- chakka Fruit. Ganja ( another stuff that came to Jamaica with Indian slave trade ). Jamaican's favorite spice Scotch bonnet pepper 🌶️ is native to Africa. Even language Patois language is mix with Indian, African, chinese language called " Hindi " unfortunately most Jamaicas says it's broken English, but the language ( patois) was created to communicate in-between slave's without the slave owner notified. And another thing is blessed by Indian slaves are Currys. In India curry means " mix of different species with sauce" example curry goat, curry chicken etc. List goes on.

Did you know that the Jackfruit is what Wrigley's Juicey Fruit is made from. It's a secret they held for years. Tell people that next time also. Look it up online. The Jackfruit extract is their base flavor. So if anyone wants to know what a Jackfruit tastes like then buy a pack of Juicy Fruit gum.
