Thank goodness you all did not have any storm damage. Love your raised beds. This is the kind that I have and so convenient. Yes, you need a lot of soil. I put straw litter and chicken poop in the bottom of mind then good soil. That is what I have and love them. Next year your strawberries will be great. All the best to you all. Have any chickens? Start you an asparagus bed. Love mine. lol those girls in coming in hot!! lol lol Your herd looks so good. He is beautiful. goodness won't let the babies join in! lol She sure is pretty calf... yes she is very pretty. Such fun to have apples on Lucy's tree!!! Very nice fruit orchard!!! The mulch will be so useful for you. Perfect! Really!!! A Mulberry tree? I had on that I planted and it was killed by lawn chemicals. Do not use them anymore. So excited to you. All the best!!!

What a satisfying way of life. Sadly, I am limited to a small 'urban farm' on my little subdivision lot. But, I love it! I also have an orchard! A miniature orchard of 6 dwarf trees! My trees are only about 3 years on, but I do have a handful of apples on all but two of them. My Keifer pear is in its 3rd year in my yard and last year produced a dozen full size pears which I just love! I have a couple of mulberry trees in my yard...to 'harvest' those, I place fine netting on the ground and collect the berries that fall. They are pretty fragile and picking them will leave you with purple stained fingers! I really enjoy your videos.

🇦🇺You could espalier the blackberries or other fruit trees that way they don’t put so much energy into shoots and leaves and more energy into the fruit. You have 3 wire running end to end and train 3 main shoots off each side of the plant. The fruit hang for easy picking.

Just a thought - do the Hereford crosses have horns?

Could your smaller blackberry be a wild black raspberry.
