This was one of your best episodes, and I really love everything that you do. I was quite moved and deeply touched by artists with both music and yarn talking about mistakes and improvisation. Ashley was so articulate and such wonderful musician. Sophia shared her deepest feelings about inspiration in knitting and life through her pilgrimage. Erica Knight has so much to share from her long creative life; I especially was inspired by her process of pinning swatches on a dummy to see what works together. Brava!

I wrote a lot of notes but they disappeared so here's my brief summary of why I love this episode so much. Tell your story with your stitches (Sofia); improvise and have fun (Ashley); don't be afraid to try new stuff (Madeleine); "just have fun!" ( Erika). Thank you so much Andrea for this wonderful shows that bring me such joy and inspiration to develop my personal creativity. HUgs

Thank you for another STUNNING episode Andrea and Madeleine, which once again brought joy to my life and a smile to my face :) The snippet of Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini brought back memories of watching the fountains of water at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas ‘dancing’ to this music with the most perfectly timed choreography. Vielen Dank 👏🏼

As Ashley was speaking of opportunities for improvisation through portals, I began thinking of how we knitters have portals in a designer's pattern for "modifications". This is very nicely demonstrated throughout the episode . . . Wow!

Very, very fun episode and I really enjoyed the segment with Ashley Hribar!!! I don't know much about music but I always enjoy the pieces you choose for different parts of your podcasts. In my opinion, you always find the piece that suits perfectly the theme of the video, well after all, music IS your thing, and I always loved your title's music. After all this time, listening to it before your podcast, it gives me a cozy, "at home", feeling since it's connected with something I enjoy a lot watching. Thanks again and looking forward to your new episode 🎹♟🧶

Can your episodes possibly get better and better? YES…. Outstanding pure pleasure from beginning til the end. I LOVED LOVED Ericka Knight. She is such a wonderful person as well as a fabulous artist. I did not know much about her apart from the fact that she had yarn with her name. She taught me so many important things about life and knitting, which are one! I loved your friend Ashley and his wonderful music… his relions spirit! We need more of that. …. And finally your lovely friend Sofia who is just charming and full of wisdom. How lucky you are Andrea to have her in your life. I must say Andrea you are looking great… it is heartwarming. …. And dear Madeleine has a wonderful personality so spontaneous and full of light. It is my pleasure to invite you every month into my home and my knitting world. 💕

Wow! What an epic episode and the reason why I continue to monetarily support Fruity Knitting as a patron. Thanks so much for this episode which I will watch over and over again. I’m not a classical fan but the piece on music was wonderful. I also never knitted any Erika Knight’s patterns, but I’m a fan now! Her whole history and beliefs on sustainability touched me profoundly. Seeing Sofia was also a wonderful treat. Off to buy some Pebble yarn and some great music and patterns! Thanks again!

amazed at Sophia's walk. I was sometimes worried and then had to say to myself, well, she's there, she's fine, she did it. hehehehe! Erika Knight has been in my life for years and to see her for real is just wonderful. that yarn from the Falklands is just so beautiful. the colours are so gorgeous. I'm a pianist so I adored seeing Ashley's improvisation of the classics I used to play. it was playful, moody, and so full of atmosphere I loved it. Thanks again for a great episode and thanks for explaining about the ads as i was getting quite annoyed with how many there are now when I thought there weren't any ads before. I felt I waited for soooooooooooooooooo long for the episode and now I'm sorry it's over hehehe!

You just keep keep putting out better and better episodes! My knitting students and I watched this together. They are both piano students and really enjoyed watching Ashley improvise, as did I. After after this episode we watched some episodes about "Piano Puzzler." My students loved that Erika had yarn and needles in her small back pack. "Of course she had yarn," they said! This was a thoroughly marvelous episode and I am proud to have been a patreon for several years and watched this program become one of the very best knitting programs available. Thank you!
