I love those glow sticks there’s so much fun and very easy to connect to make necklaces and bracelets out of.. I got so bored I took some up to my friends house and if you snip the end of them off the liquid inside,I splatter all over the sidewalk and even back in the 80s. We used to splash it on the ceiling and floor and it does not stain, but it looks like 1 million stars if you do it on the ceiling of course but it glows for hours. It’s so much fun and so cool to watch. But if you videotape after you splat it all over yourself or your friends clothes, it’s wild how you can’t see them just the clothes moving. It’s pretty freaky just watching them moving all around,but not being able to see their face just the glowing liquid. 😱I’m still a big kid heart.😂 it’s loads of fun.

@@fruitypatchouli unless they changed the formula & what goes in them since,I was growing up in the 70s and 80s. I’ve actually bit the tip off one before and it’s gone in my mouth so my tongue was glowing. Nothing happened whatsoever just went and rinsed it out… I was told they were not toxic but not knowing for sure,I just snipped the tip off,but I have extremely sensitive skin to soaps, baby oil all sorts of things because my auto immune disorders and when I’ve splashed it on the ceilings that make it look like the galaxy or a friend and I splashed it on each other to videotape in the dark no reaction whatsoever no staining of the clothes nothing. Just fun.(like how we grew up using our imagination) But I don’t go about stuff haphazardly so when my daughter wanted to see the glow stick and what it could do to make the ceiling look like stars and this was in the late 80s and we laid there and just watched the ceiling glow while reading her bedtime story and that was that. I still use them to this day. I just don’t bite the tip off anymore. I only did that once and that was for lack of having scissors around.🤷🏻‍♀️😂 but I always use caution with things. I’m not absolutely sure about but with these nothing so far has happened. I’m not glowing or anything like that thank goodness.It’s not like the first watches that were made that had glow-in-the-dark dials, and they were handpainted by a group of women and they did not tell them that it was poison. And they had to lick the little paint brush and dip it in the powder and then, ever so gingerly dap it on the numbers,the dial of the clocks and watch faces. If you have a chance to look these women up, they were called the radium girls… That was the substance that was used to make the clock faces glow back in the 30s. They cut it off and stop using it the last time radium was used before they bandit was 1978.. and unfortunately, all these women eventually died from the radium of course that’s not what’s in glow sticks. I just looked it up Hydro peroxide and one other ingredient is used in glow sticks to make them glow and it is nontoxic. It just says do not ingest the worst reaction. It said would probably if ingested be an upset stomach or if you bit the tip off, like I did that one time it could irritate your mouth, but it’s not any substance that word require emergency attention. I had copied the link for the radium girls maybe at some point you could read about it, but it wouldn’t post..🤷🏻‍♀️💜 but good to know that it’s not toxic. I was told it wasn’t and it isn’t the glow stick solution.
