Holy shit, this hits me right in the nostalgia. One of the best times in my life was about 10 years ago, where we had a 50 cent, 4 song DDR EXTREME machine at the campus bowling alley. My friends and I tore it up during all of our free time between classes. Only a few of us were good enough to even complete this song (I never could, even with the bar), and *none* of us ever fucking AAA'd it. DAMN that's impressive!
@DancingNinja201015 жыл бұрын
So you finally did it huh? Awesome! I still remember what you said on my old vid: "It's still coming up, but my pad is shitty. LOL! " and I weren't sure if it was gonna happen or not. Well thanks for proving all my doubts wrong; you totally owned it. I liked the ghost stepping at 1:06, that was actually really clever thinking. :O Also thanks for the shoutout man, I'll make sure to return the favour at some point. ;)

@skymonkey305 жыл бұрын
I don't get why people bash about using the bar. It helps for balance and speeding up your feet when needed. To say it don't count if using the bar is a dumb and rediculous standard considering the speed and difficulty this song presents as is. Bar or No Bar... getting an AAA or even an AA is already damn impressive.

To you. Sure the timing window is different, especially with perfect timing, but it isn't hard at al to adjust your play to be able to compensate for the timing window. The pad is a different beast, unless you build your own home pad or rewire an arcade pad to work with a PS2 [which absolutely is doable] the feel will be off [though I don't see how adjusting to the difference is that hard]. [Not to mention that people who know how can hack EXTREME JP to give it timing that matches arcade]
@frumpytuin13 жыл бұрын
@Hason709 well it has been unreliable until me and my dad rebuilt it. before it was rebuilt, I'd rate it a 6. it still works but the wiring like...wears out quickly I assume

At the moment I can pass the arcade version of this song with a B, virtually every time. I have had an A once, but it was a one-off event. I play by hitting the pads with the balls of my feet and that's just how I've been accustomed to playing. I'd like to learn to play with my heels as well, and only lifting my feet an inch or so off the base like you do in this video. Have you got any advice?
