watched this with my granddaughter and we both agree that Hudson is a cutie! also, I think that is great advice about not overpowering or making your child do an exact pattern - just let them arrange the piece how they like..which is how I ended up with a few psychedelic looking pieces, but I love them! really nice and awesome video!! thanks again! and that piece is very pretty by the way

This was super helpful! My niece who is 6 was watching me do bead embroidery over thanksgiving n I would poke the needle through n she would pull it. She loved it! I was racking my brain of how not to overstimulate or overprotect when she comes back as I’ve promised a bead project for us. Thanks! And good job little man!

She should be able to use a needle and thread, as long as you teach her the correct techniques, and encourage her to pull the thread rather than the needle. Pulling the needle all the way, causes friction on the thread where it passes through the eye of the needle. I'm sure you could teach her to do peyote stitch with some 8/0 Delicas. Just use one colour until she masters it, and then show her how to add a second colour with a simple pattern like diagonal stripes. Try her out and see what she prefers. We all dabble and then settle on our favourite styles. 😜

This was just too much fun!!! Hudson did a really good job disappearing, trying to sit still, listening to his "teacher", following directions, and making that beautiful bracelet. Wow, that was a lot to do--I think he gets an A+!! Get ready to move over, Allie, I think there is another jewelry designer growing up in your family...Thank you so much for sharing your son and some good info with us.

This was awesome💕💕. I was wondering Can you do a video on the diffrent types of memory wire. I didnt know there was a heavy duty kind thank you so much 😊

Most memory wire is stainless steel and like all wire, it comes in a few thicknesses. You need special memory wire cutters because memory wire is harder and will damage your regular flush cutters. Other than that, if it can fit through your beads, you can use it!

This video made me excited to teach my daughter. However, she's 3, and I'm pretty sure Hudson is older than that.
