Didn’t take our chances in the first half and Villa were much the better team in the second. Can’t really complain. We are chasing arguably the best side the prem has ever seen and the best side in Europe. We are making steps forward every year and sometimes need to look at the positives. ALWAYS looking to scapegoat someone. We went from 5th to 2nd and challenging on 2 fronts with Zinchenko and Jesus FFS. We didn't lose because of Zinchenko or because Havertz played midfield. Havertz had a great game. Yesterday was just one of those games that we NEVER looked like scoring. If anything Trossard should have scored his chance and it's a completely different game. Villa got lucky with the first goal and the rightly took their chance. Other than hitting the post they defended really well. I'm more annoyed at losing to Unai Emery than anything. I don't remember him ever setting us up to play like that against a bigger team when he was our manager.

Zinchenko is an average left back and a worse centre-mid. When he tries to combine the both he's awful. When he came on against Bayern I was worried, when he was ranting in the huddle I knew it was going to be bad. He needs to shut-up and get on with being a solid left back. At this point Arteta's decision to send Tierney out on loan looks to have cost them the league title and Champions league semi-final place
