Frustrated BMW Driver Close Passes Cyclists At Speed

Here's a driver who first attempts to undertake a cyclist on a bent then gets frustrated and chooses to overtake, but very close and a speed. Fair to do so?

For me this is a driver that should be taken off the roads for good, that is why I reported this driver for close pass, speeding, inconsiderate and dangerous driving..

For me, the Range rover is a bigger twat than the BMW for suddenly pulling out like that. You (and the other cyclist) would have clearly been in his wing mirror.

Exactly what I was thinking... but mind you, that was a pretty bad overtake.

The range rover pulled out slowly so whilst wrong it was not as dangerous as the fast close overtake.

The BMW was way too fast for the conditions and cutting in due to overtaking into oncoming traffic. ***edit*** Upon reviewing the footage again, it was the merging of the two lanes that caused an issue. Still too fast for the conditions, but the driver Could have been caught out by this. I will also add, this is another video that shows the dangers of using the ASL box.

The close pass on Silvio was bad enough and could have been interpreted as a punishment pass. But what did the rider in front of Silvio do to deserve that high-speed-close-pass?! Agree with others about the plonker pulling out in Silvio, they probably barely glanced in their mirrors...

So, criminal driving from the BMW, i'd actually say that does warrant reporting. The emerge from the SUV also, careless. You also continue to to approach this junction in the wrong lane, starting in the right amd branching into the middle lane. Every time (we know why. Nudge nudge, wink wink) All it does is put you in conflict with traffic and potentially leave you struggling to merge. Given the the lack of head movement from you cam and shadow, plus the lack of indication, not the wisest example of cycling? Its this move that probably pissed of the beamer, however its not an excuse for their reaction.

So he past the cyclist at speed ??? So it wouid of been better if the bmw past at low speed / hence hitting the cyclist ? The bmw passed the cyclist at speed to make sure the cyclist wasn’t inconvienced it was a logical thing for the bmw to pass as you call it at speed // now the Range Rover thst pulled out on you is a different matter / that wasn’t a logical thing to do as it was a unconvince

Passing at speed is dangerous as it can affect the cyclists and it also doesn't leave you any room for error. Plus, he was way way over the 20 mph speed limit. Their license should be revoked.
