FRV. Stagecoach London Route 179. Ilford, Hainault Street - Chingford Stn. E400 MMC 10314 (SN16 OJU)

Todays video is an FRV on the route 179 from Ilford, Hainault Street to Chingford Station. I’ve been wanting to redo the route since my first visual didn’t come out that great and I feel that it could’ve been way better. When I saw that an MMC was on the route, I decided to go redo the route and get it over and done with. The route is very nice (defo coz it ain’t my local). I feel like this route is underrated although here and there the route does become annoying lol. The drivers aren’t really that friendly tbh, except for this one guy I know. The route does tend to have mid service and some random periods lol but other than that the route is calm. It’s short and sweet :) I’m glad I got an MMC on the route, they suit the route and it looks nice. I do recommend doing this route and I’d rate it an 8.5/10 (defo not bias).

Hey, I just caught a E400 MMC today, because I havent caught once since 2021. Is it right in saying that 'Roding Lane South' has been renamed 'Woodford / Roding Lane South', because of the new SL2 Superloop bus. Sorry if im bothering you its just that Im just so excited to know because i live in Ilford and we're finally getting a superloop buses, because and the 150 to Chigwell Row is completed soiled with dust. Luckily we FINALLY get SL2 to Royal Docks (Hybrid bus i think) and 150U to Hainault the Lowe (Wright GB Electroliner Kite Electric Bus which is helping the Central Line Delays i think.)

The 179 is a very good route Ray, I pretty much use this route almost every week or when I get the chance to that you can say it’s pretty much a route I use to get to chingford and ilford. A W route by far and it’s not long either so plenty of good journeys made on the 179 that’s for sure

Would you consider the 179 to be a very useful route for you, considering how it’s your local and you live within a close walking distance to the route. So having that said, as you use it fairly a lot i’d like to imagine this is your go to route from getting to many places that not many routes can so much do?
