Today’s video is an FRV on the Route 246 from Bromley North to Westerham. The visual was filmed back in October 2023 and I was lucky that an MMC was on and I was in the area after failing the 358 visual (drivers fault not mine). I expected the route to be quicker but due to the traffic lights it delayed us a bit. Driver didn’t get much of a break lol. The rain at the end was jarring but atleast it was at the end and it didn’t really mess it up badly. I do recommend this route and I’d rate it a 6/10.

Cool! The only time I ever took this bus was when I was at Thornton Heath and I needed to go to Farnborough for a Bus Garage Open Day, my plan was to take a 130 to New Addington, then a 464 To Biggin Hill, Then a R8 to Farnborough. I was waiting for my bus at Thornton Heath when a young woman came up to the bus stop and told all the people there will be no 130’s running Thornton Heath- Norwood Junction due to Selhurst Stadium having arsenal playing in it, so I had to go down and take a Southern Service to Selhurst to then catch a 75/157 to Norwood Junction, and then a 130 to Addington. I used my final £3 on my account to go through the gate and when I reached Selhurst, it said the next bus was in 23 minutes, so I walled toNorwood Junction and after waiting for a very long time the 130 came and I was on my way to Addington. The time is was about 3.45 and the Garage shuts at around 6. When I arrived at New Addington, I got my 464 (which I almost missed) and went through lovely Sandbox Hill (I love that place for its tight forestry Roads). When I arrived at Biggin Hill, I went to check when the next R8 was arriving and it said that R8’s don’t run on Sunday’s. I got all sad and time was now 5. Google led me via a R2 and 358 route which said it takes 70 minutes and I knew I would not make it. So I caught this 246 bus for the first time and went to Bromley to take yet another bus home. The next day, I got ready for school and when I went to my local train station, I realised I spent my last oyster cash the day before and I had no money on me, so I waited for a bus and then switched for another bus and was late to school :/
