[Verse 1] Why are there so many songs about rainbows and what's on the other side? Rainbows are visions, but only illusions, and rainbows have nothing to hide So we've been told and some choose to believe it I know they're wrong wait and see [Hook] Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection The lovers, the dreamers and me [Verse 2] Who said that every wish would be heard and answered when wished on the morning star? Somebody thought of that and someone believed it Look what it's done so far What's so amazing that keeps us stargazing and what do we think we might see? [Hook] Someday we'll find it, the rainbow connection The lovers, the dreamers and me [Verse 3] All of us under its spell We know that it's probably magic Have you been half asleep and have you heard voices? I've heard them calling my name Is this the sweet sound that calls the young sailors The voice might be one and the same I've heard it too many times to ignore it It's something that I'm supposed to be

Yeah, honestly, Steve was chosen to be Jim's successor for a very good reason. Sadly, Disney and Jim's Children have treated him wrongly over disagreements of how Kermit should be as a character. This song will always be special to me and makes me cry, every time I hear it. My sister was paralyzed during a heart surgery in 1978, at the age of 2, and even though they knew she would never walk again, they tried leg braces and exercises to see if she could at least walk with crutches. As my mom helped my sister, they would listen to this song. The leg braces were painful and would cut into my sister’s skin, so my mom stopped making her wear them. She’s in a wheelchair but that hasn’t stopped her from learning to drive, get married and have three kids and buy her own home. She says that this is her life anthem! 💖💖💖
