I can confirm the bale issue that does work if you shred the bale. I tried a store bought bale and the bale knife...that didn't work. After I split the bale I still needed to scoop it up and dump it back on the trigger to get it to work. The rest of those store bought bales got split in the store parking lot and ran through the Welger AP730 HD bailer...those work great for 24 chicks. about 5 hd bales for 6 days food.

I bet it was hard for you to buy all those chickens i.e. you like them so much on maps. Great video

True, i have never really given much for the chickens cause they do nothing and hunting eggs is not something I do regularly. Now with this I can set it to put the eggs in a central location if the map does not already do that and there is no limit so I can go days or seasons with out picking them up. This is now a regular on any new map I play going forward.

Thank you Farmer Klein for an excellent review. I am thinking that this would be a better option than having pigs as it may be more profitable (and a smaller number of crops to grow in order to feed them). Regards James.

Thanks, I tell folks I don't do mod reviews I do how to's :) Sure its a mod review wrapped up as an explanation on how do incorporate the mod into your role play. When a mod comes out that really has the ability to change your game play I like to do a video on it. This is defiantly one of them. at just $100 each its quite easy to get a decent number of chickens early and just need 1 field of wheat to breed them. On my Midtown series I will do a video where i try to establish which is more profitable. to sell eggs or to sell chickens.

In an unreleased Midtown we did a little test to see which is better. To farm for eggs or to raise chickens for sale. Lets just say the chicken is the one that lays the golden egg. which made me also think about an pre release of midtown i had for a while... :)
