The VelocityOne stand just came back into stock at TB. I ordered one. I have both the V1 TB yoke AND the V1 Rudder pedals. I retro fitted a Wheel stand Pro stand to use both but wanted TBs stand so it is one TB unit. I will post my feelings once I receive and assemble the stand. THANK YOU Huddison for your video. Really helps us using the TB products.

@@Huddison Incredibly versital stand! Since I am using bothe the V1 yoke and V1 rudder pedals it is heavy to move as one unit. I store it in my ground level so I have it in 3 sections. The stripped stand as one, the V1 rudder attached to the TB plate as a secon and the V1 yoke/throttle attached to the V1 shaft/plate as as a third. I re-attach them when using my Xbox X.

Mine arrived today. Amazingly versatile bit of kit. Lightweight too. Looks like my ThrustMaster TPR pedals will bolt right on too as well as other 3rd party peripherals. I think the packaging weighed more than the stand. Nice one Turtle Beach !

I bought a set of four braked castors. Thread is same, fit great. Now I can just wheel it around. So cool. The castors cost me around 10 quid on ebay.

Hello, is this stand also compatibel with any car steering wheels? if yes, for which car wheel models exaclty it ca be used? I am going to buy also in future a normal car wheel for my Xbox. But place for two stands i don't have and i don't want to give out also extra money for a separate stand for the car wheel. Better to have all in one. I got this stand along with the V1 Yoke and rudder pedals as i play on Xbox in my living room and don't have a desk to mount the yoke to. I love having everything all on one stand so I can easily move it out of the way when not in use. Over all I like the stand, it's sturdy and seems built to last! The one issue I've had with it though, and I'm curious if anyone else has noticed this, but my mounting plate on the top where the yoke mounts wobbles forward and backwards. I've made sure everything is tight and put together correctly. There just seems to be some play in the bolt that connects the tube to the top plate. It doesn't bother me to much but some times when I'm pushing in on the yoke it rocks backwards a little bit. Like I said it doesn't bother me too much as I'm not usually making aggressive movements on the yoke but I could see this as being more of a problem with a flight stick. Anyone else notice this or did I get a faulty stand?

The V1 Yoke is quite heavy, so you really have to tighten that top bolt.

​@@Huddison OK wow, you really have to twist that bolt tight! I was hesitant on twisting that tight since the part you grip is made out of plastic! I didn't want to brake it. Kinda wish they just went with a normal bolt that you have to tighten with a socket wrench so you can put some serious torque on it. It was hurting my hand how tight I had to twist to get the wobble to stop and even with all that force it still has s very slight wobble, but much better then it was before. Thanks for the advise

Does the plate for the rudders have different mounting hole positions to fit other brand rudders? I have the Saitek rudder pedals and a turtle beach velocity yoke

I'm not certain whether the mounting holes will line up with the Saitek Rudders. You'll be best asking TB themselves.

Another useful video :) Is it much of a bugbear to unbolt the yoke and swap it out for the Joystick? Certain aircraft I want to control with a stick, wondered how convenient it is to do

I use the V! Flight's clamping system to fix it to the Stand, so swapping it out isn't too much hassle.

With the flightstick attached, would it be possible to comfortably angle the arm and mount to where the stick would sit basically between your legs, perhaps just above the seat of your chair?

I am one of those persons, who received one of the first VelocityOne stands available regularly. *My opinion* about the assembly of this item is somewhat different from the one stated in the video. The stand I received came packed and folded into the most space saving position and had to be unfolded in several ways; the base for the rudder pedals had to be removed, turned around 180° and affixed again as stated in the "Quick Setup Guide". The same holds true for the front upper board where the flight controller etc. should go. Took me some time to find out (hopefully), how the VerlocityOne Flight Controller should be affixed the "correct" way as intended because of those small pictures of only limited information content. I didn't find any place to download a digital copy if the "Quick Setup Guide" from the Turtle Beach webside, to have those pictures of the enclosed "Quick Setup Guide" somewhat enlarged, but the enclosed pictures are utterly small, so many of the relevant details could only be guessed from what was delivered in the box and those items delivered with the other VelocityOne products. The pictures on that single 1/2 page fold out are so small, you are probably missing a lot as I did in the 1st round and the stand had to be disassembled partly again to get those "bugs" (undwiddled) resolved. Quite often I was looking at the guide but couldn't see / identify those important details, because they were printed so small. they were almost not identifiable, to get it right the 1st time. I probably have to write an e-mail complaining about those missing details and the really small pictures or missing explanations in the Setup Guide. I hope it isn't one of those cost saving neasures, which plague some products nowadays. => Thus my opinion about the assembly of the stand differs "somewhat" from what is shown here...

I 100% agree. It does NOT arrive "fully assembled" at all - you have to remove a total of 7 bolts, flip the pedal plate, and rotate and reassemble the yoke plate. I also had to use a wrench to loosen the nut on one of the clamps, as the factory over-torqued it. As you noted, the "quick setup guide" is printed too small - it doesn't clearly indicate exactly how/where the yoke plate nuts and bolts should be reinstalled. Frankly, I find it disingenuous that this gentleman asserts multiple times that it's "ready assembled" despite him knowing that's not the case at all. He should have edited that out of his video. The fact that he assembled the whole thing backwards makes it clear that this product is from from "ready to go" when you take it out of the box. Oddly, you have to disassemble this product, and then try to reassemble it using poorly designed instructions. Also, in the video above (and the part #2 video) the stand is assembled incorrectly. A small but important detail: per the manual, the pedal plate should be (re)installed with only 2 of the 4 rotary bolts securing it in place. The other pair should be used to secure the u-bar that slides in/out - which also helps the finished product feel more stable.

So which screws did you use to attach the yolk to the stand? The only screws that came with the stand were for the mounting plate for the throttle. Did you use them?

Check the box and packaging that your Yoke ( I assume you're talking about the Velocity One Flight?) came in - you should find the necessary screws.

@@Huddison Yes there are 6 longer screws with an integrated washer on them. They are packed in a small white bag that includes the colored replacement knobs for the throttle.

I typically have my XPC yoke attached to my desk and fly that way. Although, I use the Stand when with my V1 Flightstick and Rudders for flying helicopters (very immersive). It's all going to depend on your own setup and preferences.

Strange. Looking at the provided installation sheet / "manual", I got mine assembled jut the opposite way around. The extensible part of the frame points towards me (the "pilot") and everything else including the new VelocityOne Breaks are just reversed in their mounting position. Some of the comments here point out the awkward positioning of the idividual elements shown in the video, which would be resolved doing it my way. Those 4x plastic feet seem to go under the right extension of the VelocityOne Control Panel, but that rather small picture without really visible relevant details on the instruction sheet seems to hide this... What is correct then: the way, the video provider (Huddison) did assemble (and use) it or mine reversed one and some of the comments here ? At least the manufacturer provided picture of the assembled VelocityOne Stand on the box seems to follow also my way of handling this showing it assembled the other way around . As such, the installation sheet / "manual" doesn't seem so "clear" at all about the assembling / installation process ... PS.: Following a hint I found a 2nd video, which corrects all this, because he corrected/reversed the installation / assembly in the meantime, doing it the "right" way around now. Addionally in the meantime I had a discussion with the TurtleBeach Customer Support about that position / design of the bottom clamping nut on the adjustable front pole. Mine does scratch the floor quite regularily when moving it from the "stowAway" to the "inUse" position. It sits the floor also, when using it in the manufacturer supplied basic position. Lifting the frame up to its maximum adjustement does prevent this, but mine is quite heavy after being fully assembled, so lifting it is not as easy as it seems. I had to supply a set of additional 4 M8 nuts each on the adjustment screws/feet to have it adjusted upwards and still be rather "stable", when using it. Seems, that the underlying design "problem" with that clamp position (nut) won't be changed in the near future though, after the person of the British Customer Service of TurtleBeach had contacted the team responsible for its design in the US.

It looks solid, the pipe have one of those bike seat locks, so much be durable. Honestly I would mistake the front for the back too, it seems more logical to point at you, not away (at least in my point of view).

I have been using this for a couple of days with my racing wheel and pedals and clutch bolted on. Sadly, there is a fair bit of wobble and flexing of the main stem. It really needs some additional bracing. It will no doubt be a lot more sturdy with just a flight stick and rudder pedals. I can't say its good for car racing setups. To be fair they can be very heavy. (Thrustmaster TX) I'm using. 7kg.

Nice video but I'm pretty sure your stuff is mounted the wrong way around, on the turtlebeach website the rudders are behind the mount in the middle. It seems like the way you did it works too, but I would recommend the other method as it looks more comfortable.

Seems to me, it is "purpose built". You should be able to buy another "throttle plate" separately and put the Stick on the left side of the yoke. I would be surprised if Turtle Beach doesn't have that option.

@@Huddison Yours was the only video I could find where that section was reversed, even if by accident! Wasn't sure if that panel could be reversed on purpose or not (as it looks like the central part needs to be turned a specific way around). Their flight stick has an extra 'pass-through' socket, which definitely makes me think they're planning to release a throttle for it in the near future. That's why I'm curious if this is 'future-proofed' for that purpose.

Looks similar, but more expensive than, the Logitech Wheel Stands. The 'Pro' with three uprights wasn't available during the pandemic so I bought 3 x "Logitech G25/G27/G27/G27S Radstand PRO Volante", 2 of which were returns, and made a custom setup.

@@Huddison Nice. Though I do have suspicion on how sturdy it is. I have to say it seems to me like there are actual engineers working for TB. Unlike many other peripheral companies. Been years since I used one of their headsets, and they always had driver failures when I used them. But it seems their peripheral side is doing a much better job. This stand makes absolutely no sense. The Rudder Pedals are in front or at lease level with the yoke. What a horrible setup. They should be behind and to the rear of the yoke, so your legs are outstretched. Are you sure you have it set up the right way round? It looks back to front to me? Also looks pretty flimsy? I use a GT Omega Race Wheel Stand and its rock solid, highly adjustable, and very well built. You can pick them up now for a little over £85 direct from their website. At 16:55 Mins you mentioned a problem with the Trim Wheel not synching with the Sim correctly, and when using AP it is “out of trim”. I have had a bad problem flying the HJet when disengaging AP yesterday, the plane dives down violently. Is this the problem you are referring to? If so, do you have any further information on the firmware fix or Sim update you mentioned? In the meantime would recalibrating the trim wheel help do you think?
