I did try 2024 before buying the basic game. My concern was more with my internet speed of 30 mb/s but with enough cache I don't have any problems running the sim. I mostly do tourist travel all over the world in various planes from warbirds to GA planes. My experience is not great at the moment but mostly because I do all my flying in VR with a Reverb G2. Like 2020 which took a long time getting good performance in VR, it looks like 2024 will follow the same path. I enjoy the seasons in 2024. A few planes like the CubCrafters X Cub (tail wheel) is better than in 2020. I am a fan of the PMS50 GTN750 but it is hit or miss for me in the new sim at the moment. Keep up the good work Huddison

Why doesnt microsoft just man up and admit that they sold us a beta version of MSFS2025????? I feel it is a slap in the face to all of us subscribers to try to call it anything else!!!!! My own experience is when after i get into the cockpit of any airplane, my view stays stuck looking out the windshield. when I try to look down to perform any task such as fuel or parking brakes, the view snaps back up and out the windshield in less than a second. This is the same with all aircraft I try!! I have reinstalled the sim and still, the same effect!! Man up, Jorg!!!

Don't be mad their using your experience to fix whats wrong... that's how anything works. If fisher price got into the buisiness of manufacturing airliners, would you rush out and book a flight on the first airline that purchased one.

⁠@@meak13With all the millions of permutations of hardware and software out there I have some sympathy for the testing process not finding everything possible bug on the first release. It usually makes sense to wait for a few iterations of any new release to settle down before jumping in… But, that being said, why should I expect it to be so buggy on the closed platform I bought from the same software company?? Xbox is Xbox. No settings to mess up, no graphic card options, no memory options, just one single configuration to check and it’s Microsoft’s hardware!! (Ok two if you count S and X). Sorry but I did not expect to be a Guinea pig for software from MS on a closed MS platform. I don’t think of MS as the Fisher-Price of software/hardware 😊 Anyhoo it is what it is and ranting won’t fix it. I just sadly must lower my expectations again and be patient. 😢

I strongly disagree with the comments that imply that it’s MY fault if it does not work well on Xbox X! It was sold as fully compatible and ready for Xbox. It was pre-reviewed by comped influencers who promised that it ran great on Xbox. (I think you said the same thing my friend 😊). Had it been sold as buyer beware, or try before you buy to be sure, or be patient as we work though the long list of known issues, then I suppose you could blame me for ignoring the fine print. But there was no fine print. There was no caution. There was only hype and praise for how great it already is. My experience in a nutshell: I waited a week to buy and missed the day one server overload. It loaded quickly and smoothly. Glad to see my velocity one flight yoke and pedals recognized with a prebuilt set of custom bindings I jumped right into the C-172 for a spin from my home airport ready to see the stunning new scenery. Bindings were ridiculously messed up so I started from scratch and built my own over the next hour. Jumped in and flew over my neighborhood and town. Move the mouse to look around the cockpit and ?!? Spinning view of my seat or ceiling with nothing in between. Work around with the Xbox controller works but inconvenient for my normal operating with 2020. Hmm, some winter hardwood trees looked great! But next to them were blobs of melted clay that were supposed to be houses. The downtown buildings that looked great from 5 miles away in 2020 did not even begin to res up until less than a mile away. And then right on top of them from 1000 feet they still were a mess. My internet is hard wired to the Xbox and tested 989 Mbit/sec. There are no graphic settings for me to mess up. It’s a stock Xbox X. Back to the airport to land and the frame rate dropped to a jittery 2-3 fps. So I’ve been learning the A320neo (stock and V2) on 2020 and recently bought a TBA stick and throttle quad. Particularly eager to use the 2024 built in flight planner instead of simbrief with V2. Another hour rebuilding worthless so called custom bindings - unlike 2020 where the default was nearly perfect. Build a flight plan, send to ATC and the plane FMS. Res up on the runway ready to give it a whirl, but no flight plan loaded at all! Bring up the EFB and the whole sim crashed! Try a few more times and kept working around ATC messed up, flight plan messed up, AP not working as it did in 2020 and every attempt at a full flight ending with an abrupt crash of the software. Had no one even tried the A320neo on a console before releasing this product for sale? Is there a serious commitment to fix it? Or was this just a money grab and it’s MY fault for falling for it? Yes, ground level grass looks and performs better. Trees usually look more appropriate for the place and season. Clouds, sun, reflections and some textures look better. But so far all that is at the expense of render distance, building shapes, frame rate and even basics like a working mouse, plane systems not working, flight plans not working and frequent crashes with all the larger planes I’ve tried. It feels like one step forward but two steps back compared to 2020. MY fault for naively expecting 2024 to work at least as well as 2020 with some fun new features?? Should I really have expected things that were solid in 2020 to start off completely broken in 2024?? Really makes no sense for there to be so much broken on what was sold as the next step. No excuse for saying it works on Xbox when it appears no one even gave it a cursory test first. 😢

I’m not a serious sim enthusiast, I work many hours so I get my play time in when I can and one of the things I loved was flight sim games. I was so hyped for 2024 only to be let down by a game that has the most bugs I’ve ever seen. I am so glad I didn’t fork out the money for an expensive machine to run it.

Like you, I'm not a serious simmer these days. I used to be many, many years ago but it doesn't interest me now and I don't have the time. However, my experience has been very different to you. After the initial launch issues the only bugs I get now are primarily menu related. It just shows how experiences can vary greatly.

I was having a good time at first, but it's such a mess in places with random controls not working or weird stuff happening that it really tarnishes it. Career mode is not fun. Just tried today and the first 2 missions: Got penalized for not announcing arrival, even though I was pressing the button and nothing happened. Then it told me to hold short in a place, which I did, then it said to go to another place, and as soon as I moved it penalized me for not holding. Somehow I still got an A. As for multiplayer, all I get is "You cannot select this if you have set a custom time of day" - BUT I HAVEN'T! It is set to LIVE! Never got it to work, and live traffic data is always showing an "error cannot connect"

@@alanpitkin411 Well put. Indeed there is. Sometimes it's hard to know if something is a bug when you are learning. I thought the GPS in the G1000 wasn't working but after seeing another tutorial it apparently mimics real life where you have to sometimes nurse it by setting the heading manually and waiting for it to learn the navigation route once it's near it. I'm amazed at the level of realism not just in graphics but how it simulates the smallest things. Apparently if you sit and program the GPS without starting the engine for too long you can get a flat battery too and then you're screwed. I would be thinking that it bugged out if someone hadn't told me this.

Thank you Huddison, been following your advice for years on MSFS 2020. I bought a high end PC in preparation for 2024. Pre-ordered in Sept, the Aviator Edition. I DO believe this will be a fantastic sim with time. However, I've spent DAYS configuring, reconfiguring, reloading, etc. In particular, I'm distraught over configuring controls of my Velocity 1 Flightstick. What a mess. Still, I'm a 30 year loyal Microsoft Flight sim customer.

I’m playing on Xbox series X with a 53 mbs connection. It runs smooth for me, except in major cities with Photogrammetry, where is can resemble a bomb site close up. For bush flying in small aircraft it’s great. I’m still missing some of my 2020 planes and the ships, which are non existent in fs 24.

I'm having difficulty finding a good setting for VR on the Meta Quest 3. The wired link is extremely pixelated, so I've started using Virtual Desktop with the H.264 codec set to High Performance. However, the game appears too bright and lacks some depth. I can't wait for these issues to be fixed!

I made a trip from LEBL to JFK which was approx. 5 hours and the closer I got to JFK the quicker my frames dropped till suddenly I was at 3 to 4 FPS and the whole experience was uncontrollable at that time. I have an AMD 9 7950 X3D CPU with 1 TB of DDR 5 memory, ASUS X670 TUF motherboard with all BIOS, Chipset and DLSS drivers up to date. For now, I still use MSFS 2020 till this mess Gets fixed.

Took me about three install attempts. I wasn't happy with install location. The 'Start' button annoys me. I do not like being forced into walkaround mode. There should be an option to switch this off and open on a parking spot as per msfs2020. A lot of 'fiddling and binding' now finally allows me to actually fly. Should come with a mental health warning.

Im on xbox and its working almost perfectly for me. There are rare bugs but overall its way more immersive than 2020. As a retired airline pilot, the career mode is a game changer. Having missions to complete with your every move being judged is a lot closer to real flying than 2020 ever got!

I've had a good experience to date - game loads far faster than 2020; main niggles are VR experience (Toolbar, loss of mouse interaction in cockpit), going into career mode and frequently getting a message to say there is a problem with getting live missions, live weather unable to load, being given a career mission in a Cessna 172 that requires flying over mountains in freezing conditions at too high altitudes, control set up not working properly (my Honeycomb yoke Avionics switches are mapped correctly but never manage to turn on the avionics switches in the Cessna 172), MSFS traffic injection frequently not working, poor performance in VR, photogrammetry trees appearing to look like green rocks...and many others...BUT, the lighting is much better as are the clouds and the trees are so much better...and when career mode is working and one has progressed beyond flightseeing, it is pretty good. I am sure the sim will improve (remember all the issues with 2020??). I'm looking forward to the 3rd party aircraft providers updating the flight dynamics so I can enjoy my favourite aircraft in the future. Interestingly I only get 60Mb/s download via my powerline and have no issues while the sim downloads aircraft / scenery etc....Great videos Huddison!

If you buy a brand new beautiful automobile for $30,000, you would expect to be able to get in start the engine and drive it. In this case however, you can't even get the damn door open. Once you finally get inside, the engine takes hours to get running, nothing on the dashboard works, and when you shift into drive it goes in reverse! But don't worry, the manufacturer is standing by to take the complaints from you "the consumer / proof tester" and try to remedy all the many problems. This has been going on for a while now with many game developers. Why should they hire proof testers when there is an ocean of them at their finger tips? Put the product on market broken, charge the full price for it, use the feedback from the consumer / proof testers to finish the product. Sound fair to you?

After being cautious for three weeks, I finally pulled the trigger and bought it. I think it has a lot of work to be done to it. I guess I have been lucky as I have downloaded a (n updated) version that doesn't crash. My only problem with it are the controls system. Whoever came up with this idea should be fired along with all of those who agreed to its implementation. Of course, there is the occasional bug such as "no lights in the C172" but It will fall into place at some point. When it comes to the graphics, I agree with the comment about 2020 being way better especially if you use map enhancement. I guess we have to wait for the world updates to come through. I completely took a hiatus from 2020 and 2024 with disgust . 2024 offers poor rendering with my fast internet and cars spawning on runways...city buildings that look like a mad max movie. Thank you for your wonderful videos! Yea, this new flight sim has me quite frustrated. The controls seem to change every time I load it up on Xbox X. And the mouse seems to have a mind of its own. Just this past summer I purchased MSFS 2020, never having flown on any flight sim and possessing any flying knowledge. I was soon doing bush flights and even 800 mi. VFR flights. That sim tight me a lot in a short time. You would have thought 4 years later and a brand new sim it would have been EASIER, not harder to get going.

My sim worked quite well most of the time, so I was happy.... until last night all my camera views were lost, my community folder was changed, my favorite Carenado 182 no more on the list of available planes!!! Very, very frustrating! We have an unfinished sim, breaking here or there, each update improving a few things, but at the same time dismantling other parts! The best thing to do for Asobo will be to stop the scheduled updates, and WORK on repairs ONLY. No point trying to run if we cannot walk (even more fly..) I am sure Asobo can do it, they are very good ...

From what I'm seeing on KZbin 2024 users mainly seem focused on the career mode. For me 2024 has become more of a 1st person game rather than a Flight Simulator. Although the scenery has improved from 2020 it's not enough to persuade me to change from 2020 . I have a good PC, internet speed etc so I'm staying with 2020 for the foreseeable future. After flying about 10 to 15 career missions with a helicopter or plane then for no reason they are shuting down during or just after takeoff. I have made sure to keep them in good shape. So I thougt it was maybe a bug and tryed another mission. But the same. So after check once more if the helicopter/plane is ok, I desided to sell them and buy a new one. After about 10 to 15 missions it is happening again... Another thing. It is almost imposible hover over something with helicopter. It "ejecting" itself up in the air when coming low enough.

Great, balanced video, Huddison! I'd like to share my experience with Flight Sim 2024. First off, I don’t have a super powerful PC. I’m running a PRO Z690-A MSI motherboard with a 14th Gen i7 processor, 128 GB of RAM (which I use for video editing), and a mid-range RTX 3080 with 10 GB of VRAM. Like many, my launch day experience was a bit rough-it actually took me two days to get into the sim. But that wasn’t MSFS or Asobo’s fault at all. It turned out to be an issue with some background software I had running. That leads me to what I feel is an important point that doesn't seem to be mentioned much: the role of other software and hardware on performance. Now, before anyone takes this the wrong way, these are just my opinions based on my experience with the PC version. When new software is released, it’s typically tested on clean installations of Windows, with just the latest updates for Windows and the GPU installed. This is not how most of us use our systems, though. In the real world, most people are running on PCs that have years of apps and drivers installed. And any of those extra programs or hardware could potentially cause issues with performance. MSFS and Asobo can only test on these clean setups, so it’s impossible for them to anticipate every unique configuration out there. That said, for Xbox users, it should be a bit more standardized, so I imagine their experience might be a little different. For me personally, I’ve had my share of issues like everyone else, but I haven’t gone back to 2020 since I got 2024 running smoothly. I’ve been loving flying helicopters low and slow in 2024-it’s honestly so much better than 2020. But again, these are just my thoughts and opinions. I’m really enjoying the sim and looking forward to even more improvements in the future!

Thanks, Huddison. Another on-point video. For me, 2024 is a mixed bag. Generally it's stable and reliably delivers good graphics (on a PC with an AMD 7-7700X, Radeon 7800 GRE and 32Gb of 6000 RAM). Free Flight works well for me, but Career Mode has been frustrating and bug-filled. The other day I tried several Missions and ALL of them ended with inexplicable stalls and other disasters. I've struggled to get credits and although I have 8 certifications, I seem to get just a few choices for Missions. It could of course be down to my flying skills... However, Career Mode seems to be the only gateway to having the experiences that 2024 was heavily marketed to deliver (air ambulance, fire fighting, crop dusting, etc.). Free Flight is almost an after-thought now. I did not realize when purchasing 2024 that I would have to grind through certifications and missions to earn the experiences that I thought were available and that I paid for. I don't feel I've got value for money. Perhaps a "no-fault" career mode would be helpful, where you could try some of the more interesting missions without having to have tons of certifications and tons of credit.

My experience on the xbox has been pretty good with the exception of some crashes and some buggy things, on the PC things have been way worse even though I have a very good PC and excellent internet. My EFB has gone missing in my planes. I can't do walk through items anymore such as pulling the chocks and pitot tube cover as they are not there at all anymore. My CH Eclipse doesn't always load up when I start the sim and I have to reboot my computer for it to show up. My logitech panels are also buggy and don't always respond and I have to reboot computer and restart the sim. The C152 Aerobat has gone missing from my library, but I am still very positive about the sim and look forward to them getting this all sorted out. I'm glad I didn't remove fs2020 from my hard as I find myself still flying that.

I am definitely not having a good time. My bell weather is to try flying from Long Beach California Airport on my Xbox Series X and fly towards Long Beach/LA Harbor. The graphics are not good but have improved a bit. Now, only about 25% of the buildings are odd boxes. Ships are still a mess with trees growing out of them and such. Need to find out how to get a refund from Microsoft.

I think you need to do a complete re-install.. It fixed a lot of problems I was having on my series x.. Now it works pretty good with great scenery (but still to many annoying bugs are there... I can see no friends on the worldmap, the sim freezes when I go to settings while on the worldmap, I get a ctd when walking arround the aircraft and I can't get the controle profiles to save..So I have to check them everytime I want to fly. sometimes even when I have set them and after spanwning in they have gone back to the unsuable defauft controles anyway.. Lot's of planes have problems or missing functions, and the MS-flightplanner doesn't recognise many airfields and it therefor unusable ..The BIG question is now..will this get fixed and if so WHEN?

At the moment I remain very disappointed. I hop in every couple of days repeat the same local flight to check for improvement but generally I’m not using it. For me the whole focus on the ‘gamey’ career mode is a waste of time - I wanted a simulation NOT a game! My main attention is still with 2020 and x-plane 12. I'm taking heat on my first video of 2024 Huddison, like you. It was super frustrating of an experience but I got it going. Are there still issues? Yes, especially if you name your vids "So Real!!". LOL! But they are little things like road traffic that has no idea what lane they should be in. Personally it looks as good as 2020 did for the most part and maybe even better in some respects. As far as performance, I'm running ultra on everything. I would love some 2020 planes or some liveries for the GA aircraft but all in all, I am enjoying it. Lauren

After this last patch it seemed to be doing well. Until I tried something bigger. I created a plan and loaded the 320. It locked up immediately. :( so i think 2024 is fine for GA flying , no bigger or more complex than the TBM. Anything else, stick with 2020.

i remember all the complaints about 2020 especially after every sim update breaking the game further….2024 gives people something else to complain about and 2020 is suddenly perfect!

In Settings/controls, you can switch between 2020/2024 transversal modes - it might solve a few woes for you.

@Huddison it works when I disconnect and connect again by pulling the plug When within the game. It works normally within Xbox menus with no problem.

Well it seemed to be working well for me until today. All my settings were working perfectly. All of a sudden I can’t stop the plane pitching up. Restarted a dozen times. Loads of problems I haven’t even got time to log. It’s out of control. It’s becoming a joke. Albeit a bad one. I’ll try persevering but I know it’s not a fault at my end. No idea what’s going on. Meh

I got a refund can't see any difference from 2020 i updated my scenery and getting the same as 2024 apart from the ridiculous career mode it's just not worth it . Full of bugs. Not for me.

I am not going to say I have either had a good or bad experience, I have had both. When and where the SIM works it is awesome and a great experience. But when it bugs out or crashes obviously it becomes a frustrating experience. I have experienced both, so in summary it is great when it works and frustrating when it doesnt. I am holding out hope in a few months it will be what was originally promised.

Regarding the guy speaking about a bad experience in multiplayer, Asobo/Microsoft were upfront from day 1 regarding not having shared cockpit. They explicitly told us that shared cockpit would come at a later date, so I'm not sure why he would expect it to be there from the off. Not seeing others in multiplayer is a fair complaint, but it can be "solved" by making sure that all participants use the same weather and time of day conditions. Obviously it's just a workaround until they fix it, but I can't but feel that some people are too quick to fly off the handle without investigating properly. I have done many large group flights in 2024 without issue, and if I was having any issues, I had learned how to get around them

For me, 2024 loads over twice as fast as 2020 when booting it up. And each flight loads 3 times as fast. I have never once had 2024 take longer than 2 minutes, 45 seconds to boot up (maybe 100 flights altogether). 2020 always took about 5 minutes or slightly longer. The only problem for me was learning how to assign commands onto the controller and have them stick. I got it done, but I still don't know how. Everything looks so much nicer in 2024, less stuttering, less shimmer, and have had no problems with scenery not fully loading. There are still lots of little bugs, but for instance there were over 200 fixed the last update.

i was running fs2024 with a 3gig nvidia card low res but it worked...switched an 8 gig radeon card..won't start due to dx 12 errors even though card is dx12 compatible and it will run fs2020 in dx 12 on ultra. wasted money.

I love 2024, but flying thé beechcraft is hilarious with the pilots head sticking out of the canopy and the passenger in the back is upside down with his head buried in the dirt

Here's a tip. If you crash in Freelance career mode ( which can happen through no fault of your own ) do _nothing,_ don't crash the sim to desktop, don't use the continue button. Seriously, don't do _anything_ apart from pull the plug on your PC. ( Yes I'm serious here ) Restart the PC and sim and it's as if nothing has happened. either that or grind away until you can fix the plane. Thank me later.

Getting lots of handling problems and graphics are screwed up in parts. Most aircraft have bad issues such as the trim adjust itself turns when it wants nav routes do not match, audio English is poor, ATC talks same time as passengers. Should I go on. I only had a copy of 2020 and could not run it as it overheated the cpu. This 2024 runs at medium setting and a cool 60 deg so can't go back. After saying all this I enjoy it when all works ok. I wonder how it will hold up over the Christmas - New Year break ? Every man and his dog getting MSFS 2024 as a gift and 1000's of others at home for xmas and ready to fire up their sim. A skeleton staff on duty at Asobo, in charge of the servers who will go into total panic mode should the shit hit the fan.

As much as I'd like to try FS2024 It's 2020 for now because 1. Too much costly bandwidth is required to be efficient. 2. Being completely cloud based is a joke with complex aircraft and airports. 3. My considerable number of addons will take some time to be compatible. 4. Being PC based I'm happy to purchase a new SSD if Microsoft would allow downloading of aircraft and airports like 2020 to relieve the bandwidth and make the game run smoothly.

I love 2020 on my Xbox pick up and play was fantastic bought a few planes and velocity one and off I went so seeing 2024 I was blown away however so far its been awful on console yes I updated the rolling cache but graphics still stutter and glitch my plug and play needed rebinding 🤔🤷 controller 🎮 and UI are now terrible when that was the appeal of 2020 everything worked perfectly so after nearly a month of trying I'm back on 2020 with great textures no crashes and fully ok control will periodically keep checking 2024 in the hope it gets fixed😢

Which is better getting FS2024, Steams, or MS store, undecided? I tried Steams and it kept saying I didn't have enough space, I did have on my drive, separate for 2024, I googled, and guys were saying Steams is notorious for this problem? Anybody??? Thanks!

I returned msfs 2024 for a refund...the not mapping the simple inputs for joystick controls and making it very difficult to give your inputs for your controller was the final straw. Been playing since msfs 2000..So sad ...

I feel that £129 was too high a price to take part in a paid alpha - I wouldn't describe it as a viable beta candidate from my experience to date. I only fly in VR (Quest 3), but on a machine that meets or exceeds all of the 'recommended' specs with a fast internet connection, graphics settings that give a visual experience closer to FSX than 2020, have tried every enhancement addon I'm aware of (auto lod/fps etc), and the best framerate I've achieved so far is @15fps. More typically it will be @10-12, invariably reducing to 5-6 within a couple of minutes. I haven't managed to fly a complete circuit yet without crashing on landing - due to the slideshow that APPEARS to be @1-2fps, despite the breakneck 5-6 being reported by the sim. Usually I get into the air, realise it's still a pile of steaming sh*te, and close the sim down for another couple of days. I checked my stats last night, and have logged a grand total of 1hr 13mins spread over 20 flights. Frankly, I don't expect to EVER switch from 2020 - or to buy another Asobo/Microsoft product. Maybe they'll fix it eventually, maybe they won't, but on principle - as just one of the millions (literally) that have been KNOWINGLY 'sold a bill of goods', this 40-year veteran of the franchise is done with them. I hope they enjoy the fleeting interest of the 12-year-old gamers they dropped the ball to chase after. Thank you for providing a forum for grievances to be aired (I don't want to p*ss on the bonfire in more positive comment sections) despite your own experience improving.

Why does your Cessna in the video keep twitching? I've flown in PA28's as a pilot (student) and as a passenger and I've never felt that sort of behaviour from the aircraft. I've also flown C152 and C172 on MSFS2024 and they don't twitch like that.

My experience after the first couple of days has been good overall. It’s a bit buggy but that’s getting better, and restarting the sim usually fixes the bugs for me. It loads much more quickly than 2020 and I have a lot smoother performance. My pc is 4 years old and was not top of the line when new. I have a 3060ti so can’t run graphics on ultra, but high settings look great. We added some RAM so I now have 48gb. Bindings have been a bit of a pin but I think that’s pretty well sorted now. I’m actually enjoying career mode lately so I’m happy with the sim.

I have a brand new computer with an empty 7.27TB E drive. would I be able to instal both MS 2020 and 2024 on it. I have MS2020 installed on the C drive but there isn't enough room to install all the updates for it. (C drive 464GB)

They could have made a better 2020 and not do a complete makeover that doesn’t work. I tried after the latest update and all my new bindings are gone. I no longer can access my premium planes and there’s no marketplace. The G1000 is broken too. Planes rotate by themselves too. 2024 absolutely sucks!

Your graphics look great but I’m mostly concerned about aerodynamics- if it’s better than 2020, great, if not, why bother (for me, anyway). I built a top-end system as specified for 2020 and it turned out to be waaay less than top-end after all. Going to be interesting to see if/when the system requirements for 2024 are solidified enough to build another dedicated PC. Off topic: anybody else see the pre-release price(?) of a RTX 5090? Over $7K! Are they nuts??

From day one i havent completed one flight! All my planes crash! I followd your instruction on how to install the velocity one. Step by step. When the plane is still on the ground i checked all the settings. Left, right, up down, brakes, instruments, everything. Then im starting to take off and soon when the plane is airborne it doesnt react to anything anymore. When i then look in settings it says its only connected to the keyboard, not to the velocity anymore. Wrote a serie of emails, asking for help. MS comes with a serie of suggestions, download new firmware ( there is no new) delete the cloud and install it again and again and again, (everytime someone else answers the mails) then "start from scratch delete everything from the velocity and start programming it from scratch. Everything they wrote i did it, and NOTHING helped. I was on a xbox, after the news of 2024 i decided to switch to pc. I spend a fortune on that. And everything i got in return was a flight from 3-5 minutes, and then i crashes. And NOW, 2 days ago, i FINALY got an other answer! " We are aware that many users have the same problem. We are working at it but we can not guarentee when there will come a fix for this problem"!! In other words, youve been spending over 5000 to run our product, we know it doesnt work but we cant help you!!!

MSFS2024 has been my WORST experience ever as a gamer. On my Series X the game was launched broken and it's still broken now. The loading screen still stutters and free flight with big planes crashes all the time. I'm done and won't play till the next update...stuck on 2020 for now

I built my computer this summer with the sole reason of making sure I can handle MSFS 2024. Fenix A321, BATC, this weeks streaming of our airports, so great so far. The only thing I don't understand is why in photogrammetry, it's still not so great visually when I fly over New York city ? Is it normal, or is it supposed to be really nice and impressive ? Still get buildings that look like they are melting. High end computer, High speed internet.

I have been enjoying FS 2020 for some time now both on Xbox X and pc, however since purchasing 2024 premium deluxe things have been terrible. On Xbox my flights freeze or crash, which I have reported to Xbox, but had no reply. On my pc I am not able to play at all. I have a mid range pc with 64 gig of ram and 1 gig hard drive. Back to 2020 for me. I am so frustrated there is no real support out there 😡

I think it is weird how inconsistent the results are. Fast pc equals great experience and poor experience and the same with Xbox. It's up and down across the board so what could be the cause. In 2d it plays fine for me and I sit almost on the ideal spec level. However I prefer VR and it is a bugged mess in there. I bet it's a solitary switch on a server someone has missed 😁. Flick...... and all is good.

I am able to load the game a bit faster than 2020 did and its running reasonable well since the last update. I play in VR and have a medium spec pc so i am still spending half my time tweaking settings while trying to find the best experience. I must say i am having an easier time getting it running and looking good as compared to 2020 where i never really did seem to get it just right. I have been avoiding any missions etc and only doing free flight for now.
