I went from OTR to charter buses till I had to pack it in for medical reasons as well but now that I have it behind me I am going to go for a DOT physical and get my CDL A again. I would t let it bother you Steve when I drove Rigs I came to terms with what crazy drivers do like my Dad told me as long as you are alert & prepared for these drivers as long as you don’t make vehicle contact and have to get the law involved what pisses me off more then cars is when other truckers cut me off or block me from changing lanes or turning and just not semis but smaller delivery trucks & contractors trucks to me if you are driving a car or pickup in connection with your job then you should be held to and behave to the standards of a professional driver that’s the way I see it if your vehicle is company and it has your name or company on the side then you are a professional driver !!!!!!

Been watching you for a while, and like your video's. I decided today to subscribe. A buddy of mine drove a truck just like you have back in the late 80's. He hauled cattle, and I hauled hogs, I drove a 1986 359 Pete EX. On weekends he picked me up in Dixon IL, and we 2 maned his truck out to Nebraska to grab a load of feeders and take them back to Rockford IL. I loved driving the cabover. Before I ran the 359 for the man, I drove a 1977 cabover Pete with a 350 Cummins for years. Thanks for all the angles, and your good dialog!! I got off the road in 2015. 43 years was enough for me with all the crazy people on the road!!

I saw your name pop up on another channel, and thought I would check it out. Holy cow. Your a Vin Diesel look alike. LOL 😁 I like the content that I see. I have been off the open road for about 15 years now. I don't miss it. What I miss is Waaaay back in the early day's when diesel was 14 cents a gallon and the boss was paying me 14 cents /mile, and if your engine gave you trouble you hit it a few times with the hammer and it did not take your 4 year old grand son to hook up his computer to the computer on the truck. there where no computers. and in order to get a speeding ticket you had to be doing 100mph. Life was just that simple. Thank you FSC, you got yourself a good channel. 👍

The guy must have woken up at the last second and swerved back into his lane...somehow we missed each other, but he was completely over the center line. My work is a complete 180 from yours, and you have to love whatever you do, or life will get you down. Mine is a work from home, server IT infrastructure work for a public sector company. But I have a little bit of the trucker blood in me, as my grandfather was a long-hauler and lately became a grader driver until it jacked up his back. I remember his CB handle "Rusty Buckets" out of Oklahoma. He retired in the 70s. Always loved Smokey and the Bandit, Convoy, and BJ and the Bear and stuff like that.

Do you travel up into Washington State or just east of the Mississippi? When passing a semi I'll change lanes into their lane not until I can see their entire front end (or far side of its grill minimum) in my inside mirror. At 18:00; turn around, your pot of gold is behind you. ;-)

Me and my wife Jessie see people do that stuff all the time. Worse one is when the lady pulled in front of me and slammed on her brake's. I hit mine but was loaded dam good. I TKO'D her hard and sent her car flying into the ditch. A state trooper seen it and got the whole thing on his dash cam. The lady is paralyzed from the next down and will need aftercare for the rest of her life. Her family is having to pay it cause she was denied social security benefits die to trying to scam insurance companies.

Only thing to let you know to fix is your door seal but I am sure you're aware of it when the rain comes in. Otherwise the camera angles are fine.

Thats nothing, i go through it in a daily , come down to tx, specially the dallas area, n see the stupidest drivers ... I had an oversizes load going on 635 to denton, a idiot cut me off, my drive computer automatic slammed on the brakes and my load went flying into my cab, 1 week in repair... Drivers here hate and disrespect truck drivers like nobody business..its totally bs 💩...
