It is so helpful to see someone else's problem solving in action. Lot's of helpful directions here. Thank you so much for this!

@jsarge7033, thanks for the comment and support. I try to show as much as I can because I know someone else will probably go through the same issue. My solution may not be the only on, but I try to help as much as I can, thanks again.

Your video came up first when I searched the Sailing Memory book nook. I was specifically looking for how others approached that carpet on the curved stairs problem. I was amused because, as you went through your thought process on how you might approach that tricky step, I found I had had the exact same thoughts and ideas in probably the same order! I will try your approach and hope for the best.

@pattimoran2020, thanks for the comment. I feel that's the best way to show how to handle those tricky steps is to talk it out because you never know when something you say may trigger some other ideas in the person that's watching it. Also, you see that it isn't always easy for us that have done a few of these because there is always a step you have never seen before. Hope the video helps and good luck in your build, thanks for looking.

I ended up doing it the way you did. Looks fine from the front - you don't notice the bulges where the paper won't conform to the shape of the steps. So far so good with everything else!@@coopscreations2033

@tllago, thanks for the question, I use Aleenes Clear Gel Tacky Glue. Can get it at most Hobby stores, (Hobby Lobby, Jo Annes) Never had an issue with it, thanks again.

Always love your book book and miniature room builds. Getting ready to do the eternal bookstore. What were the two glues you used. White craft glue but what was the clear glue? How do you decide which to use during the build. Thanks so much for sharing these. I look forward to each one. PS. I love when the cat shows up. Mine does that as well but normally sits on what I’m trying to build! Lol. Take care.

Lynnie's moose got loose, thanks for the comment and love the name. So there were two glues I used the white was a paper like glue that didnt bead up as much when using it for paper or twine and the other was a clear craft glue that came with one of the miniature models that didnt have a name but worked so well. I'm going to have to find another glue to use as my stock has ran out. I'm sure any type of fast dry or regular clear craft glue will be fine, just have to test on the drying time. Appreciate the post and yes I did have to cut out some with my cat always tries to help, thanks again.
