I can't for the life of me put this together. It's so fragile, it's like the metal rods are too narrow for the pieces. Any time I move it even slightly, the gear completely falls apart. What am I doing wrong?

@brianmcd993, thanks for the question, I'm sorry you are having such a hard time with this. I cant remember if there were metal rods of different sizes included with the model, but I would make sure the metal rod for the step is the right size and just work with each piece to ensure it matches the instructions. At 7:00 in my video is where I go over the steps with the metal rods if those are the ones you are referring to. Without knowing exactly what step and what issue you are having, that is the best advice I can give. Whenever something doesnt fit right for me, I always verify I have the right pieces and maybe go back and see if there was something I may have missed earlier. I'm sorry I couldnt give you better advice, but hopefully this can help a little. Good Luck

I had the same problem you had with the magazine spring. I took it apart and noticed that the spring was only wanting to compress at the top end. I took the A-9 parts and chamfered the spring facing edges of the spring channels. This creates more of a tunnel for the spring to dwell in and allows it to compress more evenly. Make sure the spring is lined up in the center of the track when you put it back together. My gun fires reliably with nine bands and slugs. Hope this helps.

Hello! I just received this "Secret Rhythm" kit, and, of all things, I can't figure out how the battery box opens. You didn't show that in this video. Is it shown in another video, and if so, would you please link it? Thank you for any help you have to give

@josie3974 thanks for the question. I did not show how the batter box opens as they all seem to open the same way and I assumed most everyone has dealt with these before so I apologize for not including that in my video. The battery compartment should open by pushing the long end away from you toward the two wires. There should be some arrows engraved on the side that opens up to show the direction it should go. Sometimes they are a little stubborn and you have to push a little harder than you think. Hopefully that helps and again I apologize for not showing that part I will try to include that in my next vidoes, thanks again.

@Scotchmist13, Thanks for the question. To me I haven't noticed a difference between companies and have not had any issues with any company I have ordered from. Now I will say that I usually get most of mine form Amazon because of the multitude of choices but if you like a certain company after doing a couple then it won't hurt to stay with them. However, there are some book nook versions that not all companies have which is why I try other companies just to see their product. Please check out my other videos as I have completed Book Nooks from many companies. Thanks again, good luck and any questions please let me know.

@coopscreations2033
@coopscreations2033 Ай бұрын
@EmYu03, Thanks for the question. I mean it depends on what your willing to spend on something if it peaks your interest. There are a lot more book nooks than there was a couple years ago, but it just depends on what you like. I think when I got this over the winter it may have been on sale, but the majority of book nooks are around the same price. I really liked this because it did have a couple things I hadnt seen before in other ones, which where the see through railings and the glass globe. So, I dont have a good answer for you, again depends on if you like one and what it has to offer, plus this one coming with glue was a bonus as well. You could always wait to see if the price comes down and see if there is another one you would like to build. Check out my other book nook videos and see if there is one that catches your eye. Appreciate the question, thanks for looking.

For the last step: Putting on the film The only part you cut are the ends where it says to cut. Both front and back peel off. Also the side square pieces then pop out, making it easier for the pegs to fit through the Film and that makes for a smooth video.

The only reason i will have the manual next to me is to see the numbers of each peace. I thank you so much for your service and this amazing hobby. Thumbs up!! The only suggestion i can give is about glue, suggested from a very experienced person saying it's 100 times better then any other. It's B-7000 -Edited-. But never mind about the glue. @francesco2647, thanks for the questions and support. The difference in the Beeswax brand and the wax that comes with the models is really just the size and what the wax is made of. They will both help wood pieces slide a little easier, but the Beeswax can cover a lot more areas. Either one will work as it should and should help where needed. I have looked at the Pinball model, I might get to it soon, but just finished a couple also form ROKR the Tommy Gun and AK-47 which I stained with different colors, please check them out, thanks again.

@spenny2422 Thanks for the comment, I wouldnt say I like the challenge as much as to say I'm more stressed to not break any pieces. I do enjoy these, but prefer the MU Transformer models as they have bigger pieces to work with. The Metal Earth ones are just really small which makes it more difficult to work with and requires I spend more time reviewing how to bend and connect the pieces together. If it comes out looking ok, then I'm happy, but wonder I did it in the first place. Thanks for looking.
