On old engines like JT8D you introduce fuel to the engine after 20% N2 which is the high pressure compressor, unlike the modern engine like Boeing 777 which has FADEC. Thank you for the video.

@@maxdenhaag1 yeah, MSFS engine simulation is pretty crap. You can just introduce fuel straight away and it’ll start 😄

YEAH its very cool at least someone DID a tutorial on how to operate the engeenering panel and the vid is not 3HOURS long so thx. But in all the other streams I saw people touching the fuel boost pumps and fuel valves, u didnt so do i have to operate the fuel boost pumps?
@TiJayFLY3 ай бұрын
@@French28Pilot boost pumps are for one or two engine taxi as far as I could gather from the manual. I believe 3 engine taxi doesn’t need them. I flew the plane after this startup and had no issues, so 😄

Why does the start sequence start with No 3 engine? Is it because of the APU? I would have thought the sequence would start with #2. Thanks for the demo.

@@chuck_machine no idea, documentation says 3 😄 I think it’s the center engine so makes sense, don’t wanna suck the push tug into the turbine
