I’m having issues after activating autopilot. It deactivates nav mode and starts going where ever it wants. When I trying clicking managed mode on it immediately switches back

is there a bug with the exterior lights? i tried putting beacon and landing lights but they didnt turned on... killed a whole planned flight for me since it was dark lol. its hard to tell whats a bug and whats not this early

Can anyone explain why the flight assist icons do not match your actual flight plan at all (most of the time)? This is very confusing to me. I'm constantly not sure whether to follow the in game assists or my flight plan.

What I mean is, for example in the C172, the G1000 says to head in one direction, but the in-world assist cues are in a totally different place

Thanks for the tutorial especially the ils as I'm used to the PMDG B738 auto tune the ils. Apparently the max must do it manually like in the video or is this a bug?

Legend this helped massively! Was having major issues with flight plan and getting autopilot to follow it correctly. Way more complicated than it was is fs 2020. But managed to get this to work first time following this tutorial thanks!

I would love to see an in depth tutorial on everything MCDU related. I know the basics of getting the flight plan in and all the stuff you showed in this video, but there's so much other stuff that I have no idea what they are and how to set.

@@TiJayFLY when flying around I want to go to let the tower know I want to land. just like in 2020 you have to call ATC for landing or flight following or departure or whatever. You cannot do that in 2024.

attempting to learn to fly for the first time on msfs, i noticed right away that on msfs24 the world map flight plan is different and you cant set it like you have. i tried to follow the video regardless but it didnt work. any ideas?

Any idea why I can't seem to find ILS arrivals, when setting up an arrival in the mcdu ? For example, I'm trying to select ILS Z RWY 27 arrival for LBSF airport, but instead as an options I only have 2 options and they are "RWY 27 and RWY 09", the ILS or RNAV approaches are not even shown. Thanks.

@TiJayFLY it just takes forever... Wish there was a easy mode for this shet. I've put my flight plan into the computer but nothing shows on GPS map inside the a320 214. Just says "map not avail" highlighted in red. Plus my plane steers like a F ing cruise ship when taxiing.

@@Themistocles30 that’s IRS align. It is covered in this video. You need to set align time to instant then set IRS dials to NAV. I also have a nose wheel steering fix video, please check my MSFS 2020 tutorials playlist.
