The fact that he didn’t recruit coming off the wins is what’s biting us in the ass now. But UM recruited off crappy seasons. If he wants to be here he’s going to have to find a way and hope the funds don’t dry up.

Talk about our team's pride and history. The sacrifices others made to make us great. The former stars and the ones that have agreed to join our team and share in its future. Our players in the NFL. We are all connected. I remember the Mudra days. I remember us finishing in the top 4 some many years back to back. I used to run on the field to shake Bill Petersons hand. I was so excited to be part of it all even though I was just a fan. I grew up and many my family members went to FSU and went on to be DRs and nurses. So much tradition. Lets get back to that now. We've mourned enough.

You look forward to a football season, you are told all offseason how wronged you were the year before, you take the hard work it took to achieve last year for granted, and feel entitled for it to just happen (Players I am talking about here).... I am not an FSU fan, I am just sharing my observation, we were in similar shoes to you just couple of years ago and it's not fun.... Go Canes!

It definitely is not fun...😪 We wait for football season all year, and now I'm just waiting for it to be over. I know it's the risk you take loving sports, but seasons like these make you wonder why we do it ourselves 😅

​@@plantthespear We are lucky in Miami to have all four major pro sports, so my Canes were miserable last year but the Panthers won the Stanley cup, so I experienced joy there.. Make no mistake about it the Canes are and will always be my #1 passion, but still love our other sport teams in town. Thank you for the reply, and sorry you guys are going through this, I was a Cane fan who went on channels saying how much BS it was last year for you to be excluded, but I think it hurt the mentality of the players this year and their preparedness for this season.

I'd love for him to keep his redshirt, but if he's good enough, he won't be here for 4 more years anyway. It's a tough call because the experience will fast track his development, but you want him to be available for as long as possible if he does stick around. Selfishly, I'd just burn it and play him. We need him to be ready for 2025.

Unfortunately for mike, I think it's too tall of a task. Maybe if Marc Stoops comes back in 2025 as a D coordinator? I've moved on from this staff and I'm wishing for Dan Lanning in 2026.

I would love Dan Lanning! He would be my first choice. He might be hard to get from Oregon as long as Phil Knight is still around and pumping money into their NIL. Plus, they are in a better conference. I would like to have Will Muschamp as DC. Not HC, but DC. I hope Mike can get it turned around, but I do worry whether he'll be able to. Gonna be a crucial offseason.

Miami dominated your lines last year and this year. FSU doesn't recruit or develop, and many recruits know the FSU formula will end up with them sitting on the bench watching a transfer portal guy take their spot year after year. That is not sustainable long term. FSU needs major changes. Oh, regarding the 'Luke Fluke' running play.....did you know that they were just trying to draw Miami offside and the center wasn't even supposed to hike the ball?

Mike is in desperation mode in 2025 , no way he rolls with Luke at Qb . Mike will go ape shit crazy in the portal and get 55 guys and hope for the best. Mike understands he can recruit or develop so he has no choice but to roll the dice again next year. Good luck with that shit.

Mike norvell needs to go fire him and get Marcus Freeman don't pay him all this money because he has done a horrible job and should not pay him because he has lost the university money and he can't fix this if you don't get rid of him now for sure next year getting new coaches from were who' what to work for him norvell needs to go just don't honor this contract he has the worst losses in school history this can't be fired in one year why the hell is the offense is so damn bad Mike is calling plays that is a horrible coaching job don't pay him
