The warning lights test switch is near the panel lights knobs, it's marked comp, off and LTS test. Search harrier manual on google and you'll find a massive PDF of an actual harrier manual. It's actually fairly easy to read and details all of the systems and switches. It's for the American version of the harrier, but it's fairly similar.

I have a question for you regarding this particular video. I know that you made it ages ago but I am attempting the same scenario and am having problems. Calling up the stores load work sheet, I am unable to change any of the load states on this sheet and was wondering if you had done anything within the game files in order for you to achieve this?Thanks in advancePaul

You probably figured this our already but FLIR is the forward looking infrared. so you can see out of that thing on top of your nose cone during night flights. MC is mission computer switch.

This one seems so much better than the skunk works harrier. Half the switches on that one dont seem to operate and its been registered. Wish this one was available to p3dv4

Great video. Something is wrong with mine. When I open the clipboard, I am unable to click on or change any of the loadout options. I tried reinstalling the product, undocking/docking the menu, and I even verified that the addon module is correctly loaded into the fsx.cfg/running the loadout module.

I actually used to have that problem but Its been a long time since Ive booted this thing up. To use the menu you need to have the aircraft compleletly shut down for the menu to work; 0% RPM, engine off etc. Thats the most common reason anyways.

IM using the Razbam harrier av b8 and every time i open the clip board ,theres a note that states the aircraft is not certified to fly. how do you remove this. Cant get any support for anywhere .

+keving52002 You may need to be a little more specific. Is it not certified for vetical take off? Whats your load out and weight? Are you within CoG limits? If you go to the Weapons Management of the manual(starting from P81) there are several yellow caution boxes telling you situations where you would have problems. A good pilot always refers to his Flight Manual!!!

ok on the stores management clip board ,theres a yellow sticky note that states."this aircraft is not certified to fly." the fuel and wait is good for VSTOL ,sometimes i use the fsx fuel and payload to take away fuel .just recently from your last post i found out how to do this from the FCP. Also wondering if this is why i cant fire weapons .Also read the manual ,have the joy stick set up. the cabin seat belt key set and always nothing . even higlighted the stores for the specific weapon to be released .

Help how do you dump fuel ,using just the on board fuel panel ?

+keving52002 If you go to page 8 of the manual, there is a picture of the cockpit, under location 9, thats the Fuel Control panel. On that panel is a dump switch(also on page15). Fuel is vented at the wingtips and will drain the both(obivously) wing tanks.

I would have enjoyed this video but for 2 things; you talk so fast I couldn't follow, and your head movements were so rapid I didn't have time to focus. I hope you repeat the video with those factors corrected as there is obviously good information to be had. Don't give up..

Hey mate, Processor : i7-4790K Processor @ 4Ghz (4 Cores) RAM: 32GB RAM Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Thats what I use, even then sometimes its not quite enough due the how old FSX is and how unoptimised it is for mutlicore computers (so Ive been told).

n8d0g thanks for your answer! im using an amd fx 6350 at the moment your i7 just destroys my fx ^^ i think a friend of mine still has an i7 3770 he isnt using that might an option :) Do you think that 8gb ram is also a factor that kills my performance? My graphics is definitly enough tho got an R9 390 with 8gb ^^

Im not a big tech person but what I do know from reading a few forum threads is that since FSX is an old old game designed for single core PCS back in the days of Pentium 2s and 3s, mutli-core processers dont actually work as well for it. The ram probably helps a little but FSX is a very intensive game because of its age. Do you have any problems iwth other sims like DCS or BMS or IL2?

DCS runs a little better but not much havent tried the other ones yet. But i think i will just ask my friend for that i7 if he wants to sell it since intel has a great single core performance and fsx just uses a single core as u said :) my fx 6350 has 6 cores but too weak cores i think if fsx just uses 1 of them

lakai2305 That sounds like a plan. Tho there are increasingly better developed flight sims like P3D and even X plane 10 (11 soon) that may be worth looking and investing in over FSX given its age.

Yea, my earlier videos were quite wobbly before I got TrackIR. I was using a program called Facetrack which is free and used the webcam to track my eyes and face-shape, but as you can imagine the sensitivity on that is much lower than tracking the LEDs on a proper tracking hardware.
