I have the Durafly Mk2a Spitfire in a 1.1m so hope it flies as good as this version when I finally maiden it. Well flown Cliff and expertly filmed Martyn, nice one 😉👍🏻

I have this model bought second hand and ready to maiden in due course. I note the two blade prop - mine has the five blade prop but guess this may not last long. What battery was Cliff using Martyn? 3 or 4s?

Hi Paul, it uses a 3s 2200mAH

Yes Cliff replaced the 4 blade because he had quite a few props break when....as with a lot of warbirds on grass it can tip over and break a prop blade but not on the APC (I think) two blade...

3s is what is suggested by the manual but I have seen a couple of videos which suggest an upgrade to 4s is better on the 5 blade. But there is little space! I fully expect broken blades on the grass so a two blade will be likely. I'm also considering a hand launch.....
