I really enjoyed this trip. I loved seeing where and how they lived. Sometimes I think I might of have liked to live back them. Thanks so much for sharing.

+Cooking with Cricket (cricket516) I think that sometimes too. There were definitely things that made it attractive, but also some hardships and ways of thinking that would have made it less so. Dr. Tolmie was a good diplomat and had advanced ideas. His mother-in-law was Native American and he maintained really good relationships with the native population. Everyone liked him and that is why he was able to stay in his post for so long. White settlers finally drove HBC out because they did not like the amount of land owned by the company. They eventually sold out for $650,000 and left the country ten years after Tolmie had moved back to Canada. Thank you for watching.

+Vic Smith I loved the shot of the two little girls skipping across the field. The people dressed in period costumes certainly added to the experience. Seeing it through our granddaughter's eyes was fun too. Thank you for watching.

+Janice Adams We had to make a difficult decision. Fort Nisqually and Fort Stillacum were having a special event on the same day. The one we chose was offering free admission to Tacoma residents, so that made it a little easier, lol. They will also be open during the holidays with a special holiday celebration. If the weather cooperates we will try to make that day too. Thanks for watching.

+Moonmaiden NYC Washington has an extremely interesting history and my mission is to share it with everyone. Having lived here for 35 years I knew about the Fort, but didn't understand it's significance until lately. Thank you for watching.
